Stately oceanfront villa.

The home is larger than the pictures show. Loved location. Two draw back not so negative, this house is very big and we only had access to the down stairs, not that I needed the additional space but curiosity got me, wanted to see the rest. Didn’t care for the carpet, felt it gave the home a musty smell.

The owner was very welcoming and very communicative. Pros:-Location is great, right on beach-House has lots of extras niceties added-Owner very communicative and stays across street in case anything is an issue-Pictures don’t show how large the house is; it is very large!-One bedroom faces ocean which is great for sleeping to sound of wavesCons:-House is a smoking house, and the smell of smoke was very strong during our stay. A couple of people in our group with asthma had to find other accommodations on the last night as their asthma flared up. Keeping the windows open helped, but only some. Residue was visible on Persian blinds and parts of walls. Would ask owner to consider marking property as one where people smoke and trying to air out for longer period prior to renting out. -On arrival, overall cleanliness of property was issue. Dishes, cookware, etc had to be rewashed by us before use. Showers were not clean. Baseboards and bricks on interior of house were not clean. While there were items to use in kitchen (which is great), many were too old and/or expired to be usable.-Many parts of house were in disrepair (carpets, rugs, blinds, a couch, etc). Edge of carpet had tack board exposed and poked peoples feet. House would benefit from fixing some of these items.
