About this house rental
This charming 1940's cottage is nestled under mossy oaks on Shell Banks Bayou off a private lane 8 miles down Ft Morgan Road and only 1 mile from the white sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. Across the lane is your private 50' lot on Mobile Bay with pier & deck. Enjoy the sunrise and sunset there or throw out a line with your favorite fishing pole.
The gulf beach at the Bon Secour National Wildlife Preserve is about a mile away. Walk for miles or sun on the white sands. Free parking makes it easy. Bring your chairs and umbrellas or call a local beach rental service for set up and take down. If you have your dog with you, you will find directions to the dog friendly beaches in the information binder.
With three bedrooms and 2 baths it sleeps 8 comfortably. Recently renovations after hurricane Sally include a new kitchen, floors, living room furniture, fans and bath update. Even more are to come soon according to the new owners. Ground level makes it easily accessible for anyone who has difficulty with stairs.
Fenced yard is great for kids or dogs and the screened porch is perfect for those summer nights or lazy afternoons. Take a nap on the swinging bed!

Several great golf courses are with in a few miles both east and west of the house. Try to courses at Kiva Dunes or the Peninsula or one of many others in the area.
This location is away from it all yet close to everything. The single lane is home to several full time residents. You can stroll up and down the quiet street and get to know the neighbors if you like. Only eight miles east is the center of Gulf Shores and all it has to offer when you want to get out and about or into the crowds.

Lovely quiet neighborhood- well appointed and decorated home. The two piers were a very awesome plus for our family ! Loved watching the little lizards and crabs - I even had a morning drinking coffee and watching a gator . Great rental.

Cute older home with large back yard and screened porch. We were able to cook out and entertain family and friends with ease. Very relaxing atmosphere inside and outside. Front yard is fenced in which is great for pets.

Our stay here was fabulous, the property was well kept and the house was outstanding. We had plenty of room for everyone the dining room table was huge all the appliances were new and clean and the location was off the beaten path and quiet yet close to all the excitement and restaurants Thank you for having us , The Hisers
