Cozy Creekside Cabin in the heart of Hocking Hills

We enjoyed our stay at Derek & Shelley’s creek side cabin. The beds were very comfortable and the cabin had everything we needed during our stay.

The cabin and area was peaceful and very enjoyable. We were able to see 6 deer and a fawn which was awesome. We got to watch a chipmunk gather its food, play and sleep. The sound of the creek was very nice and relaxing.The hosts were great, the cabin was nice, very roomy, and pleasantly cool in the very hot days we were there. We give our stay 5 stars!

Great place to stay! It was very clean, true to pictures, and just a short drive from lots of hiking trails.

The property was fantastic! The front and back porch were great for relaxing. Our favorite area was the adorable porch by the hot tub that we used daily to unwind from exploring trails and the area. The location was perfect because you were close to a local grocery store, Family Dollar, a few restaurantshe, a gas station and an ice cream shop. The cabin is also 20 minutes or less from all the trails and closer to the less crowded Rock House, Cantwell Cliffs and Conkles Hollow trails.The cabin is on a main road which made getting around so simple and we had plenty of parking for 3 vehicles. Derek and Shelley are such thoughtful hosts! They provided plenty of towels, blankets, kitchen utensils, a fan for the loft when needed and even provided Amazon Alexa/Echos in each sleeping area. My parents loved having this as they use a brown noise maker at home when they sleep as well. There were games and puzzles to use and a binder with information if needed about the property. Having access to a washer and dryer was great, then we could pack lighter and not come home and need to complete multiple loads of laundry. I'd love to stay at Derek and Shelley's cabin again the next time I visit the area!
