About this house rental
This cozy home offers beautiful views over Taupo, including the spectacular Mount Tauhara. These can be enjoyed from inside with a home brewed coffee or the undercover outdoor deck area, equipped with festoon lights for a relaxing evening.
Park up your vehicle in the secure basement (2 bays) and walk 5-10mins into central Taupo for a coffee/shopping via the well marked walking track. The track joins a lovely riverside/lakefront track. Alternatively, enjoy watching the hustle of town from the deck; the perfect escape to enjoy a break.
The townhouse is private and comfortable, with a great pressure shower, bath and a well equipped kitchen and homely touches for you to make the most of your stay:

-Smoke Alarm
-First Aid Kit

We've been touring New Zealand for three weeks, and Carolyn's place has been our favourite so far. It's very comfortable and well appointed, and has everything you need for a great family stay. A short walkway (fully accessible) takes you right into the town centre, where there's lots of cafes to enjoy and a beautiful lake to picnic by. We loved Taupō, and Carolyn's place is perfect for experiencing it.Carolyn is also a great host and very responsive. She was able to accommodate an early check-in time for us despite having to do a same day turnaround, which we really appreciate. It's clear from the moment you walk in how much care Carolyn has put into hosting, and you'll be in great hands.
