KUR-Cow farm escape 35 minutes from Cairns

Love the ranch in the rainforest . Enjoyed every moment . The animals are well taken care and they are very clean and healthy. We get to do horse riding and professionally handled by the staffs . Sharon was very diligent and professional with the horses. Easy check in and staffs are very friendly and helpful. The animals are free to roam in the pastures after 2 pm Really enjoyed when we saw the animals running free in the ranch. The campfire were awesome. Will come back again for sure. Highly recommend.

The accommodation were very small . Just basic amenities.

Beautiful spot and able to have a fire

Everyone is super nice and the animals are very friendly so really good with kids. The campfire was amazing kids had fun with looking for more sticks while the dry fire wood coming. We loved the horse riding got some great photos of the horses and kids had lots of laughs and pictures

There was no complimentary tea or coffee in the communal kitchen

Loved Ken and his helpful tips and giving the kids carrots to feed the baby goats (kids), birds, horses and sheep

Ken wasn’t around our second and last day and his sister is very unpleasant. Shouldn’t be around the guests. I asked if the kids could feed the animals and she said no not today which had been a highlight of their previous day. I asked if I could borrow an extension lead “no”, she wouldn’t suggest anything and just said no to anything we requested. Even being able to bring our own nibbles to the bar area (they don’t serve nibbles with the alcohol). There is no undercover except the bar area so if it was raining we would have had to stay in our rooms where there is no internet.
