Appartamento molto ampio, pulito, luminoso e accogliente.

Location was ideal. On a quiet street but the main road with the (frequent) buses and SPAR supermarket were only around the corner and down the steps. Lots of restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Good facilities with washing machine, dishwasher, oven/grill, hob, microwave, ironing board/iron. Had complementary tea/ coffee and the bottle of white wine was a nice touch. A good view of the sunset from the terrace. We would have a glass of wine outside in the evening to unwind. The property felt secure, was clean and the neighbours were quiet. The sofa was comfy and the TV had terrestrial channels as well as streaming platforms. We didn't really have to use the air-con. We kept the curtains/ blinds closed during the day and then opened the windows in the evening to let the draft cool the apartment down. Homely were well organised, sending us a link with a guide and instructions for the apartment. They also let us store our bags at their nearby offices when we checked out.

Walking up the steps to get back to the apartment building. It's quite a steep hill. We did find an easier route t the main road by the end of the week. Paying to use the air-con, we put in a 1 Euro coin but couldn't work out how long it would last. We used it sparingly and it managed to last the whole week. Could do with some simple instructions as to how to operate the microwave/ washing machine. Needed more bins for each type of rubbish, especially for the organic waste. We only had the bin for mixed waste.

Quiet location with stunning views and a lovely terrace and plenty of space. Parking was generally easy and we normally found a space close to the apartment. The guys that managed the apartment were very responsive.

The place could do with a deep clean and was a little grubby. The furniture and utensils are looking tired and the sofa is falling apart. A little bit more love and care in the apartment and it would make a huge improvement. You have to put coins into a meter for the A/C which I found ridiculously inconvenient, just charge more for the rooms please! No one wants to worry about finding coins to put into the meter when on holiday and stressing about running out.

Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber hat insgesamt gut funktioniert. Auf Rückfragen wurde reagiert und Anliegen wurden zeitnah gelöst. Positiv hervorzuheben ist, dass ein fehlendes Schneidebrett nach unserem Hinweis kurzfristig ersetzt wurde. Auch beim Check-out wurde uns freundlicherweise ermöglicht, die Unterkunft bis mittags zu nutzen. Ein besonderes Highlight war der schöne Ausblick vom Balkon. Leider gab es bei der Ankunft einige Punkte, die den ersten Eindruck und unseren generellen Aufenthalt für uns beeinträchtigt haben.

In der Unterkunft war ein muffiger Geruch wahrnehmbar und die Vorhänge im Master Schlafzimmer waren schimmelig. Nach unserer Meldung wurden diese am nächsten Tag zur Reinigung gebracht, allerdings stand dadurch für mehrere Tage in diesem Zimmer keine Verdunkelung zur Verfügung. Zudem mussten wir bei der Ankunft zunächst das Geschirr spülen, da es verschmutzt und/ oder klebrig war. Glücklicherweise hatten wir aufgrund unserer längeren Europareise noch Spülmaschinentabs dabei, da vor Ort keine zur Verfügung standen. Während unseres Aufenthalts haben wir außerdem zweimal eine Kakerlake in der Wohnung entdeckt. Dies waren für uns die größten Kritikpunkte und beeinflusst die Bewertung der Unterkunft deutlich. Hinzu kommt, dass sich die Unterkunft in der Einflugschneise des Flughafens befindet. Wer mit dem Auto anreist, sollte außerdem beachten, dass die Parkplatzsuche insbesondere am späten Nachmittag und Abend etwas schwieriger sein kann. Aufgrund der genannten Punkte, war das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für uns nur okay. Die Klimaanlage zahlt man zudem mit Euro Münzen separat.
