Located in the heart of the Brandywine Valley the Inn at Montchanin Village and Spa lies within the area where american history culture and museums abound. With eleven carefully restored buildings dating from 1799 to 1920, there are 28 richly furnished guest rooms and suites appointed with period and reproduction furniture, marble baths, and amenities a sophisticated traveler would desire. Most rooms have beautiful private courtyards and several have gas fireplaces. The spa at Montchanin offers guests a luxurious peaceful environment.
The health of our guests and employees is our top priority. Our housekeeping staff will be taking all necessary precautions to fully sanitize each room between guests.
Townhouse like suite with 2 bedrooms and an exquisite marble bathroom in each of the rooms. Due to the History of our property some of our rooms may come with steps. In some of the sitting areas you may find a fireplace to cozy up to to read a book. Enjoy the beverage area with coffee, tea, water and soda. The two bedrooms will be two or three levels. Our 2 bedroom suites offer a mix of Queen and/or King beds. Due to the Historic Nature of The Inn, some suites offer multi-level accommodations.

This was an unusual historic property, very enjoyable and super close to Winterthur, Longwood Gardens and the Brandywine Rive Art Museum. The "grab & go" breakfast was underwhelming, but adequate.
VRBO & Vacay Home Connect did not do their job in sorting out a double payment glitch. The property fixed it. Would stay here again, but book direct. Property management referred to is Vacay Home Connect.
