The hosts were very friendly and helpful; there to help when needed, but not at all intrusive.
The property is in a peaceful location. Although there are other houses nearby, you are very much undisturbed. The property is also within walking distance of some small shops, including a small supermarket, as well as a bar which serves lunch and dinner most days. The town of Citta Sant'Angelo is a short 5 minute drive away and is a lovely picturesque small town with local shops, restaurants, and bars.
The outside seating areas at the property were pleasant and the pool was much enjoyed by my whole family. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable as was the inside sitting area. There were mosquito screens on all the windows which meant we could keep windows open without worrying about insects getting into the house.
The kitchen was well equipped for catering for a family, which we often find is not the case in holiday villas. There were good sized pots, and plenty of kitchen utensils, cutlery, and dishes. There were also some basic provisions (salt, oil, coffee etc.) which is much appreciated when staying at a property for only a week.
We had a lovely stay at the villa and would definitely like to go back in the future!
Although this didn't bother us, some people may not like the shower facilities. The only indoor shower is in a small wet room, which also has a toilet and basin. The larger bathroom had only a shower attachment in the bath (without a holder, so you have to hold it whilst showering).
As I say, this did not affect us, but I know some people would look for a better shower facility.
