Villa Menie - Golden Fig Sykia lodge

We loved everything about this property!

Beautiful home with lots of space, it was 35 degrees almost every day and the house stayed so cool. Great air conditioning in the living room enough to reach each of the rooms if you left it running for 30 minutes but we didn’t even need it. The house is set back in the shade and stays cool throughout the hot summer days and nights. 5 minute walk to the beach with free umbrellas and sunbeds, you don’t even need to buy a drink ! Sikia is one of the only places in Sithonia that isn’t overrun with tourists and feels like a true getaway. Walking distance from the beach, bakery and meat market. 5 minute drive from the beautiful village of Sikia and a 15 minute walk along the beach to 2/3 amazing tavernas! Don’t listen to the negative reviews, this place is a gem.

The villa is surrounded by trees and there is a very big lawn in the front. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms are doing good job, but there is no such in the living room and it is hot there.

Great location - close to a sandy beach, away from the crowds; shops and restaurants on walking distance; safe, quiet and green place. Well equipped large kitchen with inside and outside dining area.

The ceiling fans were not enough to cool the house.
