Mario, the landlord, is absolutely the best. We had an evening check-in, and he was there to personally welcome us and walk us through the home.
The location is perfect. It is right in the heart of Locorotondo, with free parking nearby. It’s just 16 minutes to Alberobello, about 1.5 hours to Matera, 15 minutes to Monopoli, and around an hour to Salento, making it an ideal base for exploring Puglia.
The home is air-conditioned, has 1.5 bathrooms, comfortably accommodates up to 5 people, and the rooftop terrace offers a beautiful view of the cathedral.
I highly recommend staying here. A true 5-star experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Not a big deal but the top floor is a bit warm but luckily there’s a fan. Once the air conditioning starts running from the second floor, it helps cool down the 3rd floor. If you are tall, like almost 6feet tall, the top floor won’t be ideal for you but it was very comfortable outside of the height limit.

What a fantastic week we had at Casa Melina. Everything was just perfect!! Beautiful historic house in the center of Locorotondo. And beautifully decorated and clean inside. Compliments to our host Mario. Highly recommended as a base for exploring the beautiful surroundings.

It was unique in its design with it being a very old townhouse type of building. Perfectly located in an area with loads of restaurants within walking distance.
The rooftop seating area is also a lovely touch.
