Golfers in the group will enjoy virtually on-site access to the beautiful Plantation Course at Edisto, just across the property. This vacation rental is located inside of the Wyndham Ocean Ridge Resort. Boats, trailers, motorcycles, mopeds, campers, RV's, and golf carts are not allowed inside of the resort.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 5 vehicles.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Enjoyed our stay with our family of 10. Back porch was popular hang out and the inside sunroom was nice to get away from TV for some quiet or conversation time. Grandkids enjoyed all of the games and activities on the ground level. When we arrived the main A/C unit was not cooling properly but the local staff came through with window units to cool the house until repairs could be made the following morning. Grandkids have already said that they want to return to this same house next year.

Beautiful house, beautiful location!! Edisto Beach is a lovely place. The community had a clean pool, playground, and put put golf. The neighbors were friendly and polite. Overall wonderful stay

This house was very nice. Large rooms, great kitchen, everything in working order. The only thing we did not like was the management company, Vacasa.
Things started off with needing to get the key from the Vacasa building directly instead of having a lockbox at the house. I cannot remember the last time I needed to get a key for a rental from another location. Once we went and picked up the key I punched in the address of the house in my phone but was routed to a gate that was for "owners only". No one at the management company told us about that when grabbing the key. I ended up calling to figure out how to get in and they told me they provided a map in the envelope with the key to the main gate. That would have been great to know before leaving the office. I was not even planning to open the envelope with the key before I got to the house. Also, they provide little to no information on where the amenities for the community are located. We had to ask multiple staff around the gated community to find locations of pools, etc. and how to access them. Finally, when trying to access the pool with the key card given to us by the rental office it did not work. I had to track down another member of the property staff to try to get the card fixed.
Before leaving on vacation, we had a few basic questions that we emailed to the rental company. They never returned our email. The only time they contacted us was for the second payment for the rental.
All this wasted precious time with my family.
I suggest staying away from the Vacasa rental company if you can.
