Located in the older parts of town, you get a unique vibe of the town. Very close to the beach and plenty of local cafetarias and shops.

There was not enough storage/room for luggage/bags and clothes etc, almost no closable cupboards or cabinets. The apartment was once fully decorated with Ikea stuff, but that was that. Things that broke during the years are just missing or fixed by putting some black screws into them (wobbles)... The water heater/boiler is pretty small, don't expect longer than quick showers. The faucet of the bathroom sink does not reach into the bowl far enough, running a small stream just wets the whole table... The cleaning supplies were a bit missing, and why no (shared) vacuum cleaner? The white floor becomes dirty very quickly... The street can be a bit noisy - had to keep the window closed at night for a better sleep.

Exceptionally clean, located close to restaurants and the beach, very quiet, I slept well.

Stairs are rather steep, not a problem for me but something to consider if you have limited mobility.

Reasoable space. (But we were paying much the same price as for a much better apartment that my wife had booked earlier in February in Corralejo that came with a very large swimming pool)..

A key frustration was our inability to enter the flat. We were given an electronic code to enter the front door coming off the street. But even after correctly entering the code we had huge difficulties in getting the door to open. We did refer this problem to the flat owner but he didn't help much to begin with. So then came a crisis for us when we just couldn't get past the front door and were locked out in the street. That was deeply concerning, but this time the owner let us know of an another way of getting through the front door, which was to alternatively use a key-safe to gain access to a physical key for the door. Why he had not let us know of the existence of this key beforehand is a mystery to us. We found out that people staying in another apartment opposite us on the same floor regularly used the physical door key and hadn't known about the alternative electronic code.
