Great location, good room overall, and friendly staff. Nida and Martha were welcoming and helpful

My room was double booked for the first night. Initially, I was being asked repeatedly to change to a smaller room in the family house, which I declined. After much discussing, they organised another room nearby for that first night (a nicer room, so an upgrade). Due to that hiccup, they also offered free transport to the airport or the ferry terminal, which I appreciated. The shower filter needs some cleaning, as not much water is coming through. I took it off, which worked much better. The warm water disappeared at times. The sink has a press-button tap, which is tedious in a guesthouse. The water pressure is too high. The water that comes out is brownish.

We had a great time staying at Nidas Place. It’s close to Cloud 9, a Scooter rental and you have some nice cafés close by. Nida and Geoff are very friendly and helpful and organized a Driver for us to go north at the end of our trip.
