    I’ve always thought highly of Hilton Hotels, but unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience during our stay here. It was so unpleasant that we decided to check out after one night instead of staying for two. (And its non-refundable) Firstly, the staff were not welcoming at all. We’re not sure if it was because we were Asian or for another reason, but we didn’t feel the warm hospitality that Hilton is known for. We were initially happy to see that the hotel had a laundry facility, but when we tried to use it, the machine was faulty. We understood their disclaimer that they wouldn’t be responsible for any damage to clothes, but when we asked for assistance to unlock the laundry door, it took from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. before anyone came to help. Despite asking for help several times, the staff kept saying someone would check, yet no one did. We called twice for updates but received no response. Eventually, we gave up, packed our things, and decided to leave. In the end at 3pm, we checked the laundry area again and someone finally assisted us, informing us that our laundry had already been taken to the reception. When we checked out, they didn’t even ask why we were leaving a day early, which really showed a lack of care and professionalism. Another downside was the location. That was partly our mistake, there wasn’t much to see or do nearby besides the historical clock tower, and most of the guests seemed to be there for work purposes.

    Really enjoyed our second stay at this central hotel location. Room large, clean and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and all staff great.
