The suite was spacious & the facility was very clean

Originally booked the garden view which made the opening to the room on the outside. That room smelled musty and there was a small crack in the door. Spoke with the front desk clerk who was able to change our room to the inside.

The rooms were clean and cozy shower was hot and clean and I can see my car from My room

Didn’t like the breakfast

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out was super easy. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets, towels, and bathroom were very clean. The room had all the bare necessities (hairdryer, iron & ironing board, container for ice, coffee machine (with supplies) and extra paper cups. I loved the microwave and mini-fridge and really appreciated that the fridge was empty and thus usable for my stuff instead of stocked full of things I wouldn't buy. There was 24hr coffee available (along with creamer) in the lobby, and it tasted pretty good. Breakfast was ok. Basically the standard fare for budget friendly hotels (eggs of some kind, sausage, biscuits & gravy, waffle maker & dough, assortment of carbs breads/bagels/pastry/cereals, yogurt, hot water, coffee, tea, milk, etc. I bought breakfast items to keep in my fridge and other than coffee, never really bothered with the buffet options. There were plenty of fast food restaurants nearby, if that's your thing.

It's not in the nicest of areas, and the parking lot is in need of repair. I have a Prius and had to take care not to scrape the bottom of the vehicle when driving through the parking lot or entering/exiting the parking lot due to all the dips and uneven pavement. I only saw one camera in use and tried to park where it could at least capture images of my vehicle in case of any issues. My hotel room was very dated. The carpet is old and stained or unraveling in some places. The tub was chipped with a loose faucet. I didn't mind as I am only walking on the floor and the shower and tub still worked as expected. Things that did bother me: 1. the uneven parking lot (at least for lower riding vehicles. 2. the deadbolt on my door did not work (the metal door plate was falling off), and this is something that I do like to use when I'm in the room. On the plus side, the doors to the rooms are inside the hotel, not on the exterior of the building, or I would have found it entirely unacceptable. 3. my AC did not work. It never got cooler than 74 degrees no matter how low (56 degrees) I dropped the thermostat. The temperature was not a big deal during the day, as I was gone most of the time, but at night, I would have liked it cooler to be able to sleep. I did not sleep well even though the bed was comfortable as I kept waking up sweating. 4. my TV remote controller did not function well. I continually had to hit the input button to reconnect the remote so I could change channels or adjust the volume. All that being said, I did not request a room change as doing so seemed a bit inconvenient to me (I had already unpacked), so some of this is my own problem. However, those issues should be addressed as they do point towards the condition of the hotel in general.
