About this house rental
Welcome to Ocean Mist! Located in Laguna Beach on Panama City Beach`s desirable west end, this charming cottage has been completely restored and should be your next family getaway! The beach is visible from the road, just a stone`s throw away. Your family will also be close to everything when you stay at this beach cottage. The grocery store and donut shop are just a short walk! Pier Park and Frank Brown Sports Complex are just a 3-mile drive.
Guests will have access to the entire house. We do not have a backyard, it is our neighbor`s property and should be respected. It should only be used in an emergency. Please enjoy the nice manicured lawn for family and grill-chill time.

The white sands, bright sun, and warm waters of Laguna Beach are just a block away (a short minute stroll), great for splashing around with the kids, sunbathing with your friends, or taking a romantic walk with that special someone. Just around the corner lies the Carousel, a local grocery store, Thomas Donuts restaurant, and a souvenir shop about a block from the cottage. More entertainment is just minutes down the road at Pier Park, a massive shopping and entertainment hub that offers plenty of excellent ways to spend an afternoon. Just east, a few miles from the cottage lies the heart of Panama City Beach. In addition to more incredible beachfronts to explore, you can access amazing attractions like Ripley`s Believe It Or Not Odditorium, the scientific exhibits of Wonderworks, and the wildlife of Zooworld and Gulf World. While in town, you can also go scuba diving and snorkeling or jump on a charter boat and go fishing!
The beach, eateries, and grocery/spirits are within walking distance; a vehicle is recommended for shopping and sightseeing.

The house is cozy and very roomy. It’s a very short walk to the beach with very friendly local neighbors. Not far from pier park and all the attractions. We would come back and stay here again multiple times over. The hosts were awesome and readily available whenever we needed them. 100% satisfied

We couldn’t have asked for a better area to stay in. Easy access, and neighborhood was friendly and safe.
I rate as I did because I felt the property needed a deep clean. Things such as inside windows and window ledges, under furniture, etc needed attention.
I looked on Vrbo for a particular type of property. We took my parents with us, and I didn’t want anything with steps. Perhaps I missed it in the pictures or description, but there is a small step up into the dining area and into a bedroom. As I feared, my 80 year old mother ended up tripping over it and falling as a result.
It isn’t a big step, and probably wouldn’t make a difference to 99% of the people, but my mom was a part of the 1% unfortunately.
Im giving it a four star rating because I’m giving the benefit of the doubt that I missed reading about or seeing the step when I booked.
