Situated on the edge of Oregon wine country Butteville is centrally located between Portland & Salem 8 minutes off I-5. Spacious retreat featuring 3 full size bedrooms. Large and bright living room, fully equipped kitchen with two bathrooms. Washer and dryer off kitchen. This is the upper unit of the house
Walking distance to Champoeg Park featuring trails that wind along the scenic Willamette river. Oregon wineries 5-10 minutes away. St. Paul Rodeo 10 minutes away. 30 minutes to downtown Portland, the Oregon Zoo, & Portland International Airport. Within an hour you can be at Mt. Hood or in just a little longer the Oregon coast. Home is walking distance from the oldest continuously operating retail establishment in the state of Oregon, the Butteville Store (https://butteville.org/butteville_store.html). Bring your kayaks, boats & jet skis with river access within 5 miles. Antique hunting @ Aurora Colony is located just 5 miles featuring , museums and restaurants. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful vacation rental property, and I can't say enough about how fantastic our experience was! From start to finish, everything was just perfect, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable getaway.
I cannot thank the host enough for their warm hospitality and for providing us with an unforgettable vacation. If you're looking for a place to relax, unwind, and create lasting memories, this is the perfect destination.
I will undoubtedly be returning and recommending this gem to all my friends and family.

Surprise 1 .We stayed in the Upper Unit of the house. (Somehow I missed the fact the there were two units). It was plenty big enough for 6 adults and 2 teens.
Surprise 2. There was everything there you could want. The kitchen was fully stocked with any dish, pot, pan, baking dish, cooking tool, dish towels hot pot, Keurig and omg Coffee. Sorry we drank it all. Paper towels, garbage bags. Extra pillows and blankets. Even Kleenex. We brought little with us besides our clothing and food.
Surprise 3. Beautiful side yard with seating and a place large enough for the volleyball/badminton net.
Surprise 4. A sheet of notes with local attractions. The Butteville store was magical. Hopefully, you will run into Kate, one of the employees. So fun and informative. Saturday we sat on the patio, had a beverage and listened to 3 guys play music for free, even though there was a private party happening under the tents. It really is only a 2 minute walk from the house.
Surprise 5. We walked to the old dock. It really was 5 minutes from the house. Some of us went farther to Champoeg Park. Butteville is an enchanting little village and we will stay there again when we are in the area.
