We loved everything about this beautiful place. We have stayed in the other cottage last year. Both of them are impeccably clean. I love the cats that live on the farm. We look forward to them every year. Quiet and peaceful. Our favorite place to stay when we come in from Florida to visit. Till next August, keep this gem a secret for us. So no one else books it when we need it.

Great cabin in orchard..clean ..updated throughout. Slight confusion at check-in. Building split into 2 cabins ..didnt know that...no markings identifying them...tried to get into other cabin..had to call dor assistance but they responded promptly .

Sandee's listing is 100% accurate. What's in the pictures is exactly what you experience. We felt so comfortable staying here. It's quiet, nature-filled, and welcoming. Several state parks are very close, and Cuyahoga National Park is 30 minutes away. We would definitely book again.

Stayed at the Evening Primrose cottage this stay. Out 2nd time staying on this property. Property is extremely clean & well maintained. Owners are excellent & communicate quickly to make things are correct. Had a power outage from a storm & unit is equipped with whole house generator that worked perfect. My wife and I are both Native Northeast Ohioans, and as such, came back down from Michigan to visit my parents in Mantua, where I grew up (wife & I lived in Nelson/G’ville before moving Up North), and to grab a few pecks/bushels (?) of Pioneer Trail Orchard peaches. But we have stayed here twice now; once in each suite, and we love it. We love the kitties!! There really is no place like NE Ohio, and your little cottages are absolutely perfect!! This cottage sets on a great piece of property. It was nicely renovated and very clean! Communication with the owner was easy and flawless. We sat outside on the deck and listened to all the birds chirping. Peaceful. The beds were slightly uncomfortable but then its not my bed. The biggest plus of all.. 2 very affectionate kitties greated us at the door. Total 10 stars! We are animal lovers, it made missing ours easier. Thank you! Highly recommend this cottage!

It was a very short weekend trip, but we really enjoyed our stay here. It was just like the pictures- very clean, cozy. It was in the country, which was peaceful, and neat that it is located on an apple orchard. I was wondering how it would be since there is another place attached, but we never heard the other guests. Only thing I would say is it needed to have more towels/washcloths(there were only enough for 4) and there was 6 of us. Other than that, we would definitely stay here again.

This was our second year staying at the property, just the adjacent side/ cottage. Place is clean, beautiful, has everything thing we needed for the weekend- towels, kitchen, coffee maker, etc. love staying here for our weekend at Twinsday Festival. Already booked for next year and we added an additional night.

This is very comfortable, clean, and pleasant property. It is very thoughtfully furnished and provides everything you would likely need for a short stay, except consistent, reliable access! We were thoroughly enjoying our stay at this property and found it very comfortable and welcoming. On our fourth and final night, however, after returning from a drive-in movie just a bit after midnight, we returned to find the digital door lock would NOT accept the entry code. After multiple attempts, we called Sandee and got voicemail. Multiple messages through the VRBO app were not responded to until the following morning. We were confronted with two options: Sleep in our truck, or find a hotel. We chose the latter. We drove 30 minutes to the nearest Holiday Inn only to find it full. Another 20 minute drive to a $169 hotel in Warren. We had to cancel breakfast reservations we had made with friends on our final morning. Sandee and Joe were extremely apologetic and provided us a generous refund to cover the cost of the hotel and the inconvenience we suffered. This is a very nice place with great hosts; We would consider staying again provided that the unreliable door lock issue is resolved.

Beautiful place with everything you would want! We had a family reunion and graduation and this was so convenient! We rented both cottages for our family to be together and to unwind at night. The orchard was a wonderful view to see in the morning with coffee. Joe and Sandee are incredible hosts!

Our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids ages 3, 9, and 10) had the most wonderful stay at Evening Primrose Cottage. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. The hosts clearly go above and beyond to consider everything. This was such a unique experience for our family and the kids loved it as much as we did. The orchard is beautiful and we enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the sunset each night after spending the day doing local outings and the evenings playing baseball in the yard. We have this listing on our radar for future stays - highly recommend!
