Amazing place on top of the mountain

It's the most amazing location overlooking the hills all the way to the ocean. The accommodation huts are definitely a lot more comfortable than camping, so the term 'campsite' is a bit misleading. Loved the various lookout points for the guests to use and relax on. The rooms are cosy and comfortable with a good bathroom. The staff was very friendly. Great location for exploring numerous waterfalls and many other sights nearby. Tours can be organised through the accommodation, else you'll need your own transport.

The food served at the premises was not the best and quite pricey.

What a little gem!

The room was simple and comfortable and the staff were gorgeous. There were great little tree platforms with beanbags to look out over the valley and over the Buleleng Regency to the ocean. The food was great, the bed comfy, there was complimentary bananas, tea and coffee and we really enjoyed our stay albeit short because we were just heading through. A big thank you to the Wanagiri Campsite family for making our stay memorable.

Mountain Views, cute huts, a must stay, hidden Surprise.

Amazing Location with THE Best views. Kick ass Sunrises. Definitely easier to get to the waterfalls and Jungle trails on a rented scooter. As taxies are hard to get up there. Very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The Huts are super cute and comfortable with your own bathroom. They make simple and very affordable meals up there. Very friendly staff.

The place is just amazing - the view is breathtaking, the staff is soo kind, even do like little traditional pancakes in the morning. There is always free tea and coffee, hot shower, wifi.

Nice short term experience!

The view is amazing, even if 70% of the time was raining (or there was a lot of fog), but it's rainy season, so it's normal. The staff was very kind and we could cook together the "dadar gulung" for dinner, which I loved. When we arrived, the road to the place was blocked, but they quickly helped us find a place where to put the scooter for 1 day. The bathroom was good, with hot water. If you're looking for a camping experience (the room is so little that looks like a tent), for a short period, it's a good choice! Good spot to visit the lakes and waterfalls!

No breakfast package (even though on booking tells you this), but the prices are quite low, so no problem. Room very little if you have luggages, so I recommend to take only the necessary (we had everything with us because we are traveling around Bali).

Perfect place in Bali, must visit!

This was my second time here already and definitely not my last, this is one of the best places to stay in all of Bali! The location is amazing, the owners are sooo nice, the food is great (nasi goreng is great!) and the rooms are so so comfy. Great beds, warm showers and incredible views. Must visit when you’re in Bali, can’t wait to be back!

Beautiful and calm place with view I am going to remember for a long time 🥹 - room has everything you need: comfortable bed, private bathroom with hot shower, electricity and WiFi, - room service was available whenever you needed - outside the room in restaurant area there was free water refill and tea/coffee - Food was really delicious - staff and owners extremly friendly, felt like everyone coming there they hosted like family (special thanks to Kartika and babies, Kartikas husband, Adi and Adi) - there were bananas we could taste and eat anytime we wanted - in the evenings we could try Dadar Gulung (green pancakes with grated coconut and palm sugar) at no extra cost - this place offers also garden tour with guide who explains how coffee gets to your cup from the tree. And it was so amazing experience I highly recommend - after tour you can taste different kinds of tea and coffee (as far as I know you can do it also without garden tour) and I could really tell the difference between different tea and coffee - there is interesting infrastructure: with bridges and tree platforma where you can rest and enjoy beautiful view this place offers - if you need there is available laundry service (our clothes smelled so good after this), scooter rental, taxi service and massage - one thing I really enjoyed was night sky, I could see milkyway with bare eyes so it was really good place for astrophotography We enjoyed this place so much that we extender our stay and spend here 9 days total

Great place, cheap and with essential comfort for a few days. I absolutely loved the view. Quiet.. peaceful, quiet guests too, which I really hope it will always remain like that. The vibe is « chill, respect other people who are chilling », I love it 🥰 Super nice staff and great food !

Friendly place with great views

Wanagiri campsite is a nice place to stay. It is situated on the edge of the mountain and the views are amazing when the clouds clear. The staff are very friendly and helpful and I also enjoyed meeting the other guests at the restaurant. The buildings are very simple, just bamboo walls and floors, but they are comfortable. I can recommend the campsite for adventurous travellers.

Experienced a different price of Bali at Wanagiri!

Stunning location and super-friendly team. We loved our stay in the simple bamboo huts, great showers, views, meals, free coffee and tea all day. If you stay here, make sure you do the 9am coffee plantation tour with owner Tama. Very informative and cheap. Will come again.

The only thing that could be improved here: the Luwak (the animal that eats the coffee) could have a bigger cage. For Indonesian standards he has a big cage, but it could be a little bit bigger :) I am sure they treat him well because he looked healthy and clean!

Lovely spot with a great view. Fantastic place to wake up in the morning. Coffee and tea are complementary (instant; better coffee available for a low price). There is a fairly large menu of food options at local prices. The staff are welcoming, helpful, and kind. The rooms are if course basic but are very comfortable and gave good wifi connectivity.

Small nitpick: it could be made more clear in the property description that bathrooms are shared. This was not a problem at all, but I did book thinking I would have access to a private bathroom.

The campsite was magnificent! Such a lovely place with great friendly smiley and happy staff! Always there to make you feel like home . Food was very good too. I am so looking forward to see this place develop and become even better. The view is extraordinary. Waking up in our smalls rooms with such a view and listening to the birds and the sound of the Balinese mountain is priceless.

Things for guest to consider. It is a campsite with shared toilets and bathrooms. They where always clean and tidy and the staff was always making sure they stay clean. The can always improve to make the bathrooms more comfortable. But still i only had positive feedback from this place.

Wonderful!!!

The campsite is located in such a beautiful place, you can wake up to see the sun rising behind the mountain, I saw shooting stars, at nights you’re lulled by the nature sounds. And besides that, the customer service is excellent, they are so kind, they have such warm smiles, they will wonder about your stay, if you’re okei, what you need. And… what i LOVE the most was Brown, a beautiful kitty that will stay next to you during the whole night cuddling, is the cutest cat ever. ♥️
