Great place to stop on your way

Great location to stay when you're en route, as they're located just off the main road. But as soon as you drive up the parking lot, it's quite scenic! The staff is very helpful and nice. There's a restaurant at the Domaine as well, and the location itself is lovely, which made for a perfect stay.

Good not great

Breakfast was OK - very continental, nothing hot available. The room it self was very basic - and the bathroom tiny. But it was all very clean. Electrical outlets minimal - and difficult to access. In terms of look and feel - it was austere. The restaurant was worth the trip, as were the grounds - very beautiful.

They could actually use the espresso machine at breakfast instead of the truly awful filter coffee. It wouldn't hurt to have a nice table and comfortable chair in the room instead of the student-like bare minimum.

Arrived wow factor, grounds outside appearance beautiful. The lady that checked us in was fabulous. That's where it ends

Everything else! We were allocated what looked like a lovely room outside in the courtyard, disappointed as this was a double bed and we had booked twin. Reallocated twin down a dark corridor upstairs at the back building over the kitchen and waste bins the smell and noise were horendous on top of a very warm day.The room was grubby, broken fixtures, and uncomfortable beds. Could not wait to leave. Breakfast was hugely disappointing it didn't feel like we were in a french establishment.

The room was very basic with no kettle or hairdryer. The bathroom looked a bit shabby with missing tiles on the side of the bath and black at the corner of where the bathroom looked a meets the floor. Also, the bath had some chipping out of it.

Overall the stay was very good. The restaurant was excellent and the breakfast was OK. The staff were incredibly helpful particularly when they needed to send us back a toy my daughter had left at the hotel.

The room was a bit hot and stuffy but it was well presented and very clean.

The room we got looked and was much more worn and old style than it looked on the pictures. I believe that particular building is full of these old rooms. Based on pics on pages, it looks like they might have newer and nicer ones in other outbuildings.

Rather disappointing.

Beautiful building in beautiful surroundings.

Unfortunately there were no towels in the room, even if there had been we would have been reluctant to use the shower as with no screen or shower curtain the water would have gone everywhere, which was a real shame, as after a very long drive, we were looking forward to a shower and a good night sleep. The other downside was no tea/ coffee facilities in the room and such a shame we had to drive to get something to eat.

Ok as a stopover but not more

Well, there were beds and hot water. The bed linen and the towels were clean. The breakfast was modest but fairly enough.

The room was claimed to be 30 square meters but was not even close, really tiny room. The motorway is quite close though the exits are to far from the location, you will need to make quite a long way from the motorway. The place is isolated, nothing to do, nowhere to eat.
