Amazing location, very nice hosts. Comfy room, very clean bathroom. We want to come back someday.

Our stay at Grafbauer Farm was pure recreational holiday bliss in the beautiful Salzkammergut region, surrounded by breathtaking mountains, peaceful farmland and the idyllic landscapes around St. Wolfgangsee. It was exactly the alpine escape we were looking for – a perfect opportunity to disconnect from everyday life and immerse ourselves in authentic Austrian farm living. The accommodation was exceptional and perfectly suited our needs. Our room was comfortable, beautifully prepared and equipped with every practical amenity needed for a relaxing stay. We particularly appreciated the coffee-making facilities, cereals provided for guests, and the charming breakfast lodge where we enjoyed fresh milk produced directly on the farm and delicious large fresh eggs. Everything was thoughtfully organised by our wonderful host, Mary, whose communication via WhatsApp was modern, efficient and extremely helpful. Every item was clearly labelled and placed in our dedicated harvest bag, making the entire experience feel personal and unique. We also appreciated the dedicated parking space and the genuinely friendly atmosphere throughout our stay. A special mention goes to my wife, who became the true hero of this holiday. Despite recovering from an ankle fracture she had suffered a few months earlier, she embraced every challenge with determination and never let it affect our enjoyment of this beautiful place.

The only aspect we found a little challenging was that our accommodation was located on the top floor and accessible via a traditional farm-style staircase. Since my wife was still recovering from an ankle fracture, the stairs required extra effort. However, this was certainly not the owners' fault, as we had not informed them of her condition beforehand. Guests with mobility concerns may wish to communicate this in advance when booking. Overall, Grafbauer Farm provided us with a memorable, authentic and peaceful alpine retreat that we would happily recommend to anyone looking to experience the beauty and tranquillity of the Salzkammergut region. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Grafbauer is een schitterend gelegen boerderij waar mooie kamers in gemaakt zijn. Het is heel hoog gelegen buiten het dorp en het uitzicht is dan ook prachtig. Voor sommige mensen misschien iets te afgelegen. Wij vonden dat niet erg. Er is verse melk, eieren, jam en boter te krijgen. Je kunt er ook broodjes voor je ontbijt bestellen.De eigenaar is supervriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamer was mooi ingericht en de douche ruim genoeg.

De afstand naar het dorp is te voet niet voor iedereen te doen. Je bent aangewezen op fiets of auto.
