The host was so incredibly helpful upon arrival with tips, tricks, and recommendations. I reached out a couple times for recs while I was there and she provided amazing feedback. Take her recs on food - they were always spot on and some of the BEST meals I had while I was there. Kitchen is microscopic. Fine for a quick breakfast but I would NOT try cooking dinner there. It might seem like a long walk from the ferry port when looking at a map but I think it took me 90-120 seconds to make the walk. Easy peasy - would absolutely recommend!

If I had to find one negative it would be that when you open the shutters, you can sometimes smell the cigarette smoke from the restaurant downstairs. Crazy thing though - once you close the windows you can't actually HEAR the restaurant so no complaints on noise.

We stayed 4 nights in Korcula, the end of April. The location of the apartment was great. Just a short walk from the TP ferry arrival dock. We were steps from coffee shops, restaurants, grocer and wall of Korcula. You can’t beat the location. We had small suitcases so easy to carry them up the short flight of stairs. 2 small beds pushed together, were comfortable. Small table with 2 chairs, fridge, nice shower made our stay comfortable. Good communication with owner. We walked the inner old city wall, doesn’t take long, rented e-bikes, 50 euros each and cycled to Lumbarda. Our favourite restaurants were: Pjata Marea, Restaurant Largo, pizzeria LEUT. Recommend going to Dilas Winery, in town for some wine tasting. Open 4:30-8:30pm. Family owned, friendly, 22 euros for 4 tastings.

The unit is older and very small. As mentioned we had 2 small suitcases so were able to tuck them away. Maybe difficult to find room with large ones. No coffee maker or coffee so we purchased some instant and used kettle for 1 morning coffee. Limited counter space for washing dishes. One side of bed has side table and plug ins. Unit is quite dark. For future we think we would just spend the extra for a bit larger place with some sort of outside sitting area for early morning coffees and afternoon breaks. Also, not many places open quite yet so if going in April, 3 nights are plenty.

Location was great and host was very accommodating.

Small hot water heater, difficult to find (lots of directions but not helpful). External stairs and more stairs to get to second floor.
