"Kleines Fährhaus" Vacation Home in Ulsnis

Our one-room vacation rental, “Kleines Fährhaus,” is ideal for couples or friends who want to enjoy a peaceful getaway, with a great view of the Schlei from every part of the apartment. The newly furnished vacation rental “Kleines Fährhaus” is located in the tranquil village of Ulsnis, right on the beautiful Schlei, a Baltic Sea fjord. The clear highlight of the apartment is the stunning view of the Schlei from every window, along with the convenience of being just a few steps away from the shore, complete with a dock and a small swimming spot.
Inside the apartment, the motto is “small but nice,” and so the newly furnished 1-room vacation apartment, with its 31 m² of space for up to two people, leaves nothing to be desired and offers everything you need for a relaxing stay.
The front door opens directly into the living and dining area, where you can make yourself comfortable on the cozy couch. In addition, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi provide entertainment, so you’ll never get bored—even in North German “Schietwedder.” In the adjacent dining area, you can enjoy the magnificent view of the Schlei and the green garden with its mature trees while savoring a freshly cooked meal from the colorful, modern kitchen.
Right next door in the open sleeping area, you’ll find a 180x200 cm box-spring bed for a comfortable night’s sleep; from here, too, you’ll have a great view directly of the water. The modern bathroom is separated from the sleeping area by a sliding door and has also been furnished in a very contemporary style, featuring a walk-in shower with a rain showerhead.
To help you soak up the sun’s rays, there’s a private terrace with seating right outside the entrance—enjoy a sundowner here with a magnificent view… that’s how wonderful a vacation on the Schlei is!
Our apartment is also perfect for guests who love wellness, as the neighboring building features a common area that can also be used by the apartment next door.
Here you’ll find a large Finnish sauna and an adjacent walk-in, open shower with a rain showerhead. In addition, the common area features a small guest restroom and an utility room with a washing machine and storage space.
Baby equipment (crib and high chair) can be provided upon request.
You may park your car directly on the property, and there is a lockable shed for bicycles or other sports equipment you bring with you.
A wallbox for charging electric cars is located on the property. Our vacation rental is situated in the idyllic village of Ulsnis, in the heart of the picturesque Angeln region, just a few meters from a pier and a small swimming spot on the Schlei (Ulsnis Beach). The Schlei region is perfect for long walks and bike rides along the eastern hilly landscape. In the summer, you can watch numerous water sports enthusiasts on the Schlei. From Kappeln and Schleswig, you can take boat tours on the Baltic Sea inlet and get to know the Angeln region from a water perspective! The nearest larger towns, such as Kappeln and Schleswig, are easily accessible by car. The nearest restaurants and bakeries are only about 4–6 km from the vacation home. The nearest Baltic Sea beach is about a 20-minute drive away.

House Rules/Pricing Info:
During peak season, there’s a minimum stay of 7 nights. During off-season, there’s a minimum stay of 4 nights.


The mandatory final cleaning service is already automatically included in the total price for the requested stay via our price calculator.

Initial linens included (bed linens and towels); additional changes available on-site for 25,- € per person.

Check-in and check-out on Sundays are possible upon request.


Dogs are welcome and incur an additional charge of 10,- € per night per dog. A maximum of 1 dog is permitted; cats are not allowed.

Additional services available upon request for a separate fee, bookable directly with the property owner:
