Axotikon Apartment In Naxos Town

Everything was wonderful. Any small issues were resolved immediately. Location amazing. Apartment large with all you need in it. Honestly A1 !

Was a little expensive but in August, all is pricey!

This apartment absolutely exceeded my expectations (as did the whole island of Naxos) and was the perfect base for our stay in Naxos. Could comfortably fit 3-4 adults but we were a family of husband, wife and one year old baby. The host provided a portacot for us which was great. The apartment was right in the middle of the old town and you could walk absolutely everywhere - 7 mins to the main beach, 7 mins the other direction to the port/ferry, shops and restaurants as soon as you walk outside your door. Somehow given the apartment is in the middle of the town, there was minimal noise at night and we all had great sleeps. The hosts were so kind and we had a great stay overall. Would highly recommend this apartment and Naxos to anyone - families, couples, friends - there’s something for everyone! And this apartment is the perfect base.

Only criticism is that the shower is very small and my husband is quite tall - but it didn’t impact our stay.

The location is outstanding. An easy walk to the pier and everything in town. The hosts were gracious and helpful. We accidentally locked ourselves out and they were quick to respond - and did so cheerfully. There was fruit, wine and a homemade quickbread left for us upon arrival - very thoughtful gifts. We didn't use the kitchen, except the refrigerator, but it seemed to be well-stocked.

Be very careful not to close the front door without the key in your hand. It locks automatically. And, if you have left the key in the inside lock it will take a locksmith to get in! The shower is pretty small, but serviceable. The washer was much appreciated and our clothes dried quickly overnight (but grab the key before you go on the balcony to retrieve your laundry).
