"You can clearly see that Karin (the host/owner) has put a lot of thought into decorating the tents. They are very clean, well-equipped, and truly enjoyable to stay in. The bathrooms are also spotless...."

Convenient to Gota Canal. Unique experience and clean.
No early check in available so if you arrive early, they send you to town and don’t allow you even on the property. Property layout is confusing as to where guests are allowed to go since there are multiple homes on the property and you get scolded if you accidentally end up on someone else’s lawn, with no signs fences or boundaries posted. The A Frames are too small to have so much “decor,” aka clutter and chachkies.

Beautiful well set up comfortable tents and wooden huts. First time glamping and it was a great experience. We stayed one night at the Bivack (Japan) and one night at the Africa tent. Both were really cool. We slept so well and the beds pillows and duvet were so comfy. At the bivack (hut) I had one of the most comfortable sleeps ever. Waking up and opening the curtains to a lovely view and morning light is another experience. The bivack are a bit small but is good enough for 2-3 people. If you are very tall it might not be ideal though. The Africa tent had the perfect lovation, best of them all in my opinion as it is in a corner by the open field (but safe and no wild animals!) with a lovely view and feels very private away from other tent and just 10 metres from bathrooms and grill/bbq/outdoor sitting area and 20 metres from kitchen. It is quiet and even with other tents occupied it isn't crowded, we came across just few people. Beautiful surroundings/landscape and nature with fields and the Göta Kanal. The landlord Karin is lovely, friendly, helpful and warm. She is in charge and arranges everything by herself with no help which is admirable and impressive. Make sure you see which tents or bivack you want in the pictures when you book here(one if the pic has the name). The website also has good pics of each tent/hunt. Africa and Blue have the large family double bed with a single extra bed and some others have the smaller double bed to fit 2 plus extra single bed. It was an amazing experience and I recommend it strongly
It is in the end a camping so it is all the typical Swedish self service. There is a kitchen with necessary appliances, including oven, fridge to store your food, dishwasher and dining area to prep meals. Cutlery, plates, mugs etc are available for use. The bathrooms are common, and 10-50 metres from the tents but very clean and well maintained. Bring your toiletries. You have to make sure to bring your food/meals because there are no restaurants in the close vicinity. We got groceries or take away from the towns nearby. We ordered the breakfast from Karin which was pretty good and simple with a sandwich, croissant, jam, juice, a fruit, a yogurt pot with muesli it was all packed and easy to take along for picnics or trips. There is a bus stop 5 min away called Sörby, Brunneby with buses to Motala or Linköping resecentrum. They come once an hour or so so it is important to be there on time. The Östgötatrafiken app is great to see the timings, plan trips and see the exact bus position when they so you can see if u missed the bus or are on their way to your stop even if they are few mins late. The cons are minimal so if you plan well and expect/want a real glamping experience and not a hotel service with a restaurant, this is the perfect choice. My 9yo son who can be a bit picky and never camped outdoors enjoyed it a lot. The tents can get a little chilly at night (we were there in August) but there is a heater in the room if needed which was perfect. Insects are not an issue and we didn't get any in the tent. there are some daddy long leg spiders in the bivack area but they are harmless and were outside.

Hade egen frukost. Men de frukostpåsar som tilhandahölls verkade vara utmärkta.
