Great location, property and host

The property is very central with a public car park opposite. It's an attractive, well-renovated, older building amongst more modern buildings. We stayed in a ground floor apartment with an open plan kitchen/living space and a large bedroom with ensuite. Great decor, everything you need, and a great host who was so helpful. She sent us a helpful list of restaurant options, but our plans changed, and we opted for the dinner that she brought to us in our room. The stay was so pleasant, easy, and the host so friendly and warm.

The property is on a street that is busy with cars at least during commuting hours, so a little bit of traffic noise, but it didn't disturb our stay.

Great for young families, modern, smart and clean apartment

Amazing host, gave us recommendations for local restaurants and went to lengths to accommodate us, Joelle really exceeded any expectations at every moment. Fantastic facilities for our toddler, well equipped and clean apartment.

EV charging is at a nearby car park using public facilities, which didn’t work when we tried one of the stations.

Excellent - would highly recommend as a base for exploring Troyes and surrounding area.

Very well located within a short walk of town centre, and close to excellent restaurants. Extremely well appointed with tremendous attention to detail. Impressed with the hi tech entrance system and Joelle, our host could not have been more helpful. Although initially concerned about public car park, we were assured to see CCTV and were able to park immediately opposite. Very reasonably priced at 2.70€ for overnight. Good breakfast served in room.

WOW !!! this place is incredible. So beautiful, so comfortable. Everything has been thought of. It was a shame we were only there for one night. A little taste of luxury.

Excellent apartment for short stay in Troyes - very comfortable, close to everything, welcoming host

Very comfortable and well-equipped apartment, close to old village, shops and restaurants. Joelle was very welcoming and helpful. Access was easy and parking across the road.

Some noise from apartment above. We would prefer no stairs.

Exceptional!

So much to love about this place. The location of course. The place is so well thought out. I marvelled at how well designed the kitchen area is - and finally - stocked properly with all that one might need to prepare a meal. Sharp knives! The quality of everything is excellent. I’m so impressed by the charming host who went out of her way to make a great stay, exceptional! I can’t wait to visit again.

Luxury stay in an amazing location with a fantastic host. Perfection.

The location was amazing - 2 minute walk into Troyes and all its medieval charm. The carpark is opposite the apartment and if you come a little later in the day you can park so you can see your car. It was very safe and no height restrictions for vehicles which is a big plus if travelling in a camper van as we were. Joelle, the owner is just the nicest person. She was very informative about where to visit. The linen - and everything in the apartment is top quality. Air con in bedroom and the living area. Honestly cannot fault anything. Wish we could have stayed longer. Oh and the breakfast delivered to your room with a smile is as added bonus. Just perfect.

A fabulous start to our journey through France

Well located A very warm welcome awaited us. Superbly equipped - contains everything you need and more. Fully equipped kitchen/lounge Comfortably bed, beautiful bedding, plenty of towels. Attention to detail was excellent. We ordered dinner for the night we arrived - a delicious 3-course meal was prepared- simple but very tasty and excellent value for money. Breakfast served in the small garden or your room - lovely selection of bread, croissants, cheese, eggs and pancakes.

The host was amazing and very helpful, my wife is gluten free and Joelle made gluten free pancakes for her breakfast that were delicious. The apartment (and whole building) was stunning with spiral staircase, stained glass and coving.

Exceptional host and apartment, highly recommend.

Joelle was an amazing host, the apartment was exceptional! She had thought of everything we could possibly need and more… our apartment even had a stocked wine fridge which we thought a lovely touch. The location was great for exploring the old town and Joelle’s recommendations were perfect, as was the breakfast she delivered in the morning. Parking opposite was convenient with plenty of larger spaces for our van with bike rack at only €5 per day through Joelle.

Every thing. It was easy to find. Parking just opposite. The apartment was beautiful and immaculately clean. Beds were comfortable. Everything you could need. The city was a short walk past the car park. Troyes was beautiful too. Joelle was a great host so helpful. Breakfast was delicious highly recommended. Especially the cheese! We only stayed one night but will be back and will recommend to all our friends.

A little piece of heaven.

The owners are wonderful. Very helpful and friendly. The quality and standard of the rooms are exceptional. I was shown all the other available rooms and was overwhelmed by the eye for construction, the fabrics and furnishings.

I have nothing negative to say about my stay. I regret not being able to stay longer !

The apartment was spotlessly clean, well equipped and the bed was so comfortable. The host, Joelle, was there to greet us and provided really helpful local information and recommendations. This was the perfect place to break up our journey to the Ardeche, driving from London.

This is our 2nd stay at La Maison VH. We loved it then and still love it today. Very centrally located and although on a busy road, you hear NO noise at all….its amazing! The apartment (1st floor, no lift ) was on the 2nd floor and is spotless. Lovely linen, towels and good quality pots, pans etc…..not the usual Ikea you normally see. The kitchen is compact but we managed to cook twice - a pasta with sauce dish and a vegetable frittata - the microwave took a bit of working out but we finally got there with the owners help. Parking is across the road and at €4 per day, it’s a bargain!

Opening the door with you phone is a pain if it’s in the bottom of your handbag each day, but you get used to it!

Perfection

Extremely well located a short walk from town centre and with ample parking opposite. The host is extremely kind and helpful. The room was decorated to the highest standards and in very good taste. Sound insulation of the room was very good and the bed was of excellent quality meaning that we had a very restful night’s sleep. All in all perfect accommodation - thanks Joelle.

Gorgeous property, incredible owners, excellent location.

Wow! We’ve travel France for many years and stayed in many places, this was the most gorgeous. They thought of everything every comfort and convenience. The apartment is completely fitted with high end everything, and it’s quiet. The owners go above and beyond, and are the kindest people. The location is fantastic, walkable to everything and parking literally across the street. If you are lucky enough to visit Troyes and don’t stay here you’d be missing out. I wish I could give it more than a 10.

Beautiful and convenient

A lovely, well equipped flat within easy walking distance of the centre. The parking worked well, just over the road and only 4 Euros per day.

Just one small thing: the water from the bathroom tap came out scalding hot when turned to the blue side, and cold when turned to red, which was unexpected. For safety, it would be good to have a warning notice.
