The cottage was very well equipped and very comfortable for our whole family. It even had some books for the children to read. We plan to stay again when we visit North Devon

We loved seeing the animals, and the kitchen actually had enough pots and pans etc to cook for ourselves!

The large sitting room with log fire (we used it 4 times even in July) were very cosy. The bathroom was luxurious and the beds comfortable; weslept well. We loved the friendly goats!
Kitchen equipment was a little tired and sparse. Extra black bags would have been helpful given that rubbish needed to be bagged prior to binning. No pegs/laundry basket/iron or hair dryer available. Coffee and tea were in the cottage (thank you) but no obvious 'welcome pack'. Some milk or biscuits make all the difference when arriving at a remote cottage after a long drive!
