This cozy Cowboy cabin boasts a private deck and hot tub, panoramic Big Sky views and incredible ski-in/ski-out access via the Powder River ski run to Big Sky Resort and Moonlight Basin.
The open plan living area is welcoming with vaulted ceilings, rustic log beams, warm wood flooring, a gas fireplace to cozy around after skiing or exploring Big Sky and a flat screen TV for entertainment. The kitchen is well-equipped with modern appliances, a vintage-style gas range and oven and a dining table to share family style meals or a quick midday snack between ski runs. Bedroom 2 has a Captain's bunk bed with a queen bed on bottom and a twin bed on top, and a private bathroom with a shower. All bedrooms are equipped with high-quality furnishings and linens for a night of comfort.

Perched high on the Moonlight side of Lone Mountain, the ski access is one of the best in Big Sky. Step off your back porch and you are on the slopes! Moonlight Basin is centrally and conveniently located to enjoy all that Big Sky has to offer and a scenic drive away from an incredible Yellowstone day trip.
Cowboy Heaven Cabins boast premier ski in ski out access to Big Sky Resort. These ski in ski out trails are some of the best on the mountain and are suitable for all levels. To help plan your trip, the Iron Horse and Pony Express lifts at Moonlight typically open early to mid-December. There is no ski access until the lifts open or after lifts close.
Ski Out:
Step off the back deck onto the groomed Gambler access run. Veer left and then immediately hang a right to ski through the tunnel below. This run easily connects with the Powder River ski run, which will take you to the Ironhorse Chair Lift.
Ski In:
From the top Madison 8 Lift, ski down Lazy Jack to the intersection of Cinnabar and Powder River. Stay straight on Powder River continuing through the ski tunnel. Take your first right and travel over the skier bridge, your home will be the 5th house on the right. Alternatively, you can easily ski home on Powder River and hug the left hand side of the run which swiftly takes you back to your home found at the end of Bandit Way Road.
