Beach condo Porto mós (sea view)

This apartment was beautiful. It had everything you would need for a holiday in beautiful Lagos. We didn’t cook but if you wanted to cook it had everything you would need. It has a coffee machine but no kettle. It was easy enough to heat water up in the microwave to make a cup of tea. The sofa and beds were comfortable and it has shutters to keep the sun out. The only thing is the air con wasn’t the coldest (lowest 18 degrees) however we just used the big fan and opened the doors and the balcony windows for some air. We pretty much had the pool to ourselves the full week. It is around a 15-20 mins walk to the beautiful beaches and the old town where all the lovely shops, bars and restaurants are. We just used uber which was around €4 per journey. They told us it would be around double this during the busy months May-August.

The air con could have been cooler.

Stor og fin lelighet, godt utstyrt. 2 bad. Rolig område litt unna sentrum, men gangavstand til både sentrum og til strand. Flere restauranter i nærheten. 3 basseng ned solsenger, god plass.

Ekstrasengen var veldig hard. Savnet vannkoker. Kunne ikke benytte de mest vanlige kaffekapslene til kaffemaskinen, og fikk ingen informasjon om hvor kaffekapslene kunne kjøpes. Fikk ikke håndklær til alle.

The apartment was spacious modern and had all the amenities we needed,staff was very friendly and the location was ideal. Highly recommended.

The house is beautiful, and we wish we could have enjoyed it more freely and peacefully. The facilities, such as the swimming pools, are really nice. A car is definitely necessary.

Our biggest regret about this accommodation was that one of us had to sleep on a mattress on the floor in what was meant to be a triple room. The apartment is luxurious, but not truly suitable for five people. There was also a certain level of pressure and tension regarding how the apartment should be used. While we understand that the host may have had negative experiences in the past, unfortunately this led to a negative experience for us as well. We were told — in a tone we didn’t find appropriate for a host — that we would have to pay for any damage we might cause. For example, we were specifically warned not to stain the towels. Reasonable? Perhaps. But if you rent out an apartment, it should be welcoming and comfortable, not a source of anxiety for your guests who are there to relax on vacation. The result? We avoided using most things out of fear of accidentally damaging something and being charged for it. Also, we were offered coffee capsules — but they were incompatible with the coffee machine.
