+ efficient electronic communication in English language with the host and warm welcome and care by the host's mother
+ the host family's home-made cake was delicious :-)
+ well furnished apartment exceeded our expectations, we felt immediately very comfortable
+ well lit by large windows and modern lamps
+ nice view to the lake and the mountains on the north-east side of Lake Como
+ quiet neighborhood (no heavy traffic)
+ kitchen well furbished (we used it several times and we missed nothing)
+ rental of host's mountain bikes during the complete time w/o additional charge
+ comfortable double bed
+ all was well maintained and still quite new, very clean and tidy
+ walking distance just 10 mins. to the nice antique Gravedona village center and the port
- The description in booking.com could be precised: living space (house size) is smaller than the currently listed 70sqm (our "qualified estimation" of both floor levels added is rather 50sqm, which was of course still large enough for us 2 persons). The open floor apartment has no bedrooms separated by walls from the living and kitchen areas ("2 separate bedrooms" mentioned in the listing). It is just one 2-story room with one separate bathroom.
- The reserved parking space has a good size but is some 90m away from the house and out of sight. For unloading of bagage it was allowed to temporarily park in front of the entrance stairs, though.
- No international (e.g. German or English language) TV channels

Nice location, well refurbished and super clean small house on a big family ground with several houses with good equipment.
Nice and clean pool, but (~80m from house) children play house with many toys.
Nice owner family with couple of children, our boys (8/4) had a lot of fun with them
Free private parking lot.
The house is one big room+1 bathroom, size is most probably smaller than 70qm, parent bed on gallery/2nd floor not really high for a 2m person, I hit my head 2 times.. :-)
General disadvantage in Gravedona:
House is in walking distance from the lake, but not everywhere pavements and fast driving cars on every road, difficult to walk with small children, after 2nd day we gave up and took the car.

Great view over the lake and well equipped house. Well equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a large oven. Nice people and warm welcome. Gravedona is a nice place with a good restaurant an one of the best icecream of lake como. Not to touristic.
