Villa Raffaelli

Wir wurden während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts hervorragend betreut. Die Schlüsselübergabe und -rückgabe verliefen völlig unkompliziert. Bei Fragen oder Problemen wurde uns sofort geholfen. Der Hauswart kam jeden Morgen vorbei, entsorgte den Müll, reinigte den Pool und erfüllte gerne weitere Wünsche. Das Haus ist sehr gross und bietet selbst bei 12 Personen genügend Platz, sodass jeder auch einmal seine Privatsphäre geniessen kann. Die traumhafte Aussicht, die freundliche Nachbarschaft und der wunderschöne Garten haben unseren Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht.

Die Küche ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und die Sauberkeit hätte an einigen Stellen besser sein können. Zudem bietet sie nur wenig Ablagefläche, was das Kochen für 12 Personen teilweise etwas erschwert hat. Mit einigen Erneuerungen und kleinen Verbesserungen könnte der Komfort deutlich gesteigert werden.

We arrived at the villa from England with our five children and five pets to celebrate my husband’s birthday and enjoy a family holiday. Finding the perfect spot was a long, thoughtful process, and we are beyond thrilled with our choice—we had the most wonderful time! Here are the highlights that made our stay truly unforgettable: Exceptional Communication: Our experience began with Leonardo, the villa owner and guardian of its historic soul. His communication was flawless—patient, detailed, proactive, and always positive. He truly provided a sense of security, ensuring every detail was seamless. The Villa & Grounds: The property is entirely private, secluded, and incredibly cozy. We made great use of the Jacuzzi and the pool, but the highlight was definitely the open-air cinema setup for the football championship—thanks to Leonardo’s kindness, we watched the matches on a big screen under the stars. A private open-air theater! A Culinary Journey: You must, absolutely must, experience Chef Nenella’s culinary masterpieces. We discovered the best lasagna in Italy so far, and we will be dreaming about her beef with porcini mushrooms and tiramisu for a long time. She even prepared a surprise for us—such a warm, pleasant, and incredibly talented woman. History & Atmosphere: While the villa preserves its authentic 15th-century spirit without being ruined by modern renovations, its aura is profoundly positive. I personally loved exploring the mini-exhibition in the second-floor library, which details the three different families who have cared for this villa over the past 500 years. Furthermore, we all slept exceptionally well—the beds were so comfortable. Divine Views: The scenery is heavenly from sunrise until late at night, when the lights on the neighboring hills begin to twinkle. It is a must to explore the forest paths and the local villages nearby. A heartfelt thank you once again to Leonardo.

Very traditional villa with stunning mountains view. From the moment you walk in to the property you will feel so special. We came with group of friends to celebrate my birthday. We had such an amazing time. From the moment we landed in Pisa to the moment we left we were feeling so special. Huge thank you to Leonardo and his team for helping us with everything. We didn’t have to worry about anything. They literally organised everything. Dinners at the villa, transport, trips, local food etc. Very highly recommend place to stay. Will definitely come back again soon.

A very nice place to rest, everything is clean and nicely decorated. It has a beautiful view of the mountains, and the yard is the right place to enjoy. The interior of the house is a real small museum that took us back to some old times. Each room is decorated differently and something interesting can be found for everyone. The host is kind, all praises.
