About this house rental
This 3 bed/1 bath cottage is super cozy! Newly refurbished, this spacious 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom residence features a charming front porch and sunroom that looks out at a serene garden.

* 1 mile from the brand new Twins Creek Marina and Dry Creek Beach
* 1 mile from the Bass Club which has docks great for fishing
* 1 mile from Winchester City Park which has tennis, frisbee golf, basketball, tennis, a huge playground overlooking the lake
We live about an hour away, checking in will be done via a code. We always strive to be available for messages/calls when our guests need us. We also have someone on-staff monitoring messages throughout normal business hours.
The property is on a convenient and visible road.
The property is located very close (approximately 1 mile) to the Winchester square where restaurants and shops are located.
The closest grocery store is Walmart which is about a 10 minute drive.
* 1 mile from the Winchester city square with great eateries and a vintage movie theater
* 10 miles to the University of the South
* 20 miles from the famous Jack Daniels Distillery.
* 20 miles from the Caverns in Pelham which hosts awesome Concerts in the Caverns !
You have access to the entire house except for a closet off the backroom for the cleaning crew and the outbuildings.

This house was so close to downtown Winchester, the AFB, and Tims Fields State park. We stayed with 3 dogs and 3 adults. It was large and accommodating for us. Neighbors were friendly as well. Great property!

The location of this house was great and within walking distance of the square. We loved the sun room and enjoyed afternoons reading out there. The large tv was great and the internet worked just fine with no issues. The bathroom was large and had a nice walk in shower. The kitchen was adequate but poorly equipped with utensils if you planned to do major cooking. All the appliances worked fine and so did the washer and dryer.
However, there were some electrical outlets that weren’t working and there was an unpleasant odor in the hallway/kitchen area. We were also concerned with security because the entrance was an only a glass door with no deadbolt that could be locked from the outside. Also, the outside light to the entrance door didn’t work. This didn’t affect our stay but the grounds were in very bad condition.
We love Winchester and with some attention to these issues, this little house could be something special. We’d go 3 and 1/2 stars if that was available.
