The location was scenic and quiet (during early April). It felt like we had the whole apartment block and three swimming pools to ourselves.
Staff were on hand to answer questions and provide information by WhatsApp and did so very promptly.
The two double beds and pillows were comfortable. Two balconies with seating and clothes horse provided. The shower was very good. The decor was modern and all equipment provided were acceptable for what we needed (air conditioning, wifi, hairdrier, kettle, fridge freezer). All towels and basic kitchen appliances and crockery were provided. Good information pack about local services and areas of interest provided.
Two nice restaurants, a takeaway and small convenience shop were within short walking distance. The area is lovely, with beautiful views from its pisition on the top of a hill, but slightly remote. Everything is easily accessible by car (we needed a hire car to be able to explore touris attractions and access Carvoeiro, which were all all between a 5-20 minute drive away, but taxis were available if needed).
Beautiful surroundings, peaceful and relaxing.
The couches in the living room were not particularly comfy, but acceptable for what was needed. No spare sheets for the pull out bed so our two children needed to share a double (although host responded saying this would be taken into consideration for future guests).
The sun loungers by the pool have been well used and some had holes in them, so some of these need replaced.
The area is very quiet, so transport is required to access local markets and nightlife, although it was ideal as a relaxing base for our young family (with the use of a hire car).
