Ema Apartments

Spacious with a great view of the lake. Very very clean!! The bed was super comfortable. There was even a washing machine with detergent supplied. Bathroom and shower also great. Zero complaints. I loved it here

We stayed here 2 nights : 1 night in the one-bedroom apartment before our PoB (Peaks of the Balkan) hike & 1 night in the deluxe king studio at the end of it. Clean, comfortable, cosy, a balcony with a view of the lake, close to the start of the trail... It simply was the perfect choice, especially on the return, after more than a week of rough hiking : that last day we were actually so looking forward to being back at Ema Apartments :-) Plus the owner lady was super friendly & communicative and they stored our big luggage during our hike, it was waiting for us in the room upon arrival.

We didn't like the fact we had to leave the next day (we actually considered booking an extra night but it didn't fit in our plans) :-) Just be aware it's very different than the other accommodations on the trail, where you stay in simply rooms, have communal dinners, there's a backpacker vibe etc. This is more private and that's why Ema was so perfect as a start and an end to our hike. Oh, a tiny point : tv didn't work, normally I never watch tv on holiday so don't need it but there was the world cup :-) Could watch it on our tablet though...

The apartment is stunning! Well decorated and with breathtaking views. The bed was super comfortable and everything was spotless! I highly recommend staying here.
