Anestis Ioanna Villa

I booked the property for my family vacation - my parents, my brother with his family and myself. It was really perfect for us! We absolutely LOVED the place! It's in the middle of a big olive grove, very peaceful with amazing sea views, but also pretty close to amenities and the beaches. The communication with the hosts was always smooth, they were super nice and helpful with everything. We really liked the goodies they left for us, and that we were allowed to eat fruits from the garden. They were the best grapes and figs we ever tasted! We loved the swimming pool, and especially that there are so many comfortable arrangements to sit and relax all around the house and terraces! There is a parking space for several cars outside the gates, it's easy to get in and out of it. There is a toilet on every floor. The downstairs and upstairs apartments have separate entrances, and even in the downstairs apartment the inner room has a door to the outside. Each apartment has its own kitchen and shower. There is also a garden shower. Overall, the whole place is full of stylish and lovingly created details. Everything is of good quality and well chosen, the plants are absolutely thriving and the atmosphere is guaranteed to make everyone feel at home and contented. (My father and brother kept talking about the masterful execution of stone work and all my family appreciated the maintenance of the garden a lot).

The villa is very spacious and has all that you will need for a holiday. The location is perfect for cooling breezes from the sea. What makes this villa really special though is the garden and pool area. There is so much space to enjoy and seating areas in shade and sun. The pool is sparkling and makes the perfect spot to cool off in. There are plenty of loungers, hammocks and seating areas that a family can really spread out and relax. The villa itself is beautifully and lovingly built and the rooms comfortable and generous. The hosts can not do enough for you. They respond quickly to all communication and really work hard to make sure you have a great holiday.

The only tiny thing that you should know is that the path down is quite steep. We had a car which we are glad about. We did walk down the hill and catch the bus to Chania and sometimes walked back up, but if you have shopping a car would be advisable.

This is without doubt the best value for money and enjoyable authentic accommodation iv ever stayed in. The hosts were wonderful people, making so many little personal touches like giving us homemade raaki and olive oil, lending us their personal speaker and even offering to cook a BBQ with us !! The location is perched on top of a hill with a goat track short cut to shops and the beach. the house was beautiful and authentic, the pool and backyard area was a perfect set up and the view was unreal! I stayed here with 4 friends and we all had a ball 10/10

there was a few small plumbing issues but that's pretty standard for Greece.

The longer we stayed at the property, the more we enjoyed it. The views from the balcony were fantastic, the pool and the backyard were great to relax in. We found a short cut to the local shops and bus stops for our organised tours which made life easy. The owners were very helpful and left us some wonderful local food and drinks. It is a short drive to Chania old town which has a beautiful harbour, great shopping and fantastic restaurants. Ioanna gave us fantastic recommendations for local restaurants and beaches. We made use of the kitchens and had wonderful breakfasts on the balcony and some great at home dinners

It was as expected, nothing to complain about.
