Flower house

Τα πάντα ήταν τέλεια. Το σπίτι ήταν μεγάλο και ευρύχωρο. Η οικοδέσποινα, η Στέλλα, ευγενικότατη και πολύ εξυπηρετική!

The hosts (a family of 3 living next door) are utterly kind and helpful but also very discreet. The bedrooms downstairs were naturally cool during the summer heat although there is no A/C. The garden and outside spaces are very nice and relaxing and the basketball court is a big plus! Last, the house is within 15’ drive from Chora (main Andros’ town) and a couple of nice bays/beaches.

The house is situated right on the main road of the island and one has to be extremely careful when exiting the premises—especially families with children. There’s no dedicated parking lot and cars need to be parked along this road. Also, even if the garden and outdoor spaces are plenty and beautiful, it’s not that convenient to dine outside: access from the kitchen to outside is possible either from the very steep and narrow internal staircase or from the main door and…the main road (with no sidewalk). Last, the bedrooms are on the lower level and if the doors and windows are closed, there is a musty scent coming off—especially so, inside the cupboard and drawers.
