This gorgeous country house is located in the heart of the South-West of France, between Bordeaux and Toulouse. A perfect place to gather with friends and family, Marigné has an impressive central communal area including comfortable sofas, soothing decor, jaw-dropping views over the French countryside and is guaranteed to create an unforgettable experience for you and your guests.
Built in the 19th century, this farmhouse has been completely renovated and modernised to offer a high standard of comfort and style throughout the property from the open plan kitchen to the bedrooms and bathrooms. Whether it be summer, autumn, winter or spring, Marigné is a place to switch off, relax and recharge.
Marigné is located 5mins by car from Saint Sylvestre sur Lot (47140), where essential shops can be found (bakery, supermarket, pharmacy, petrol station, bank, farmers market) and the local area offers many hiking and cycling routes, water sports on the river Lot as well as culinary adventures.
The house has the following characteristics:
- 160m2 living spaces and 60m2 terraces
- 4 bedrooms to accommodate up to 8 people
- 2 bedrooms with queen size beds, ensuite bathroom and toilet
- 1 bedroom with a double bed
- 1 twin bedroom with 2 x single beds
- 1 main bathroom with shower
- 1 main toilet
- 1 games room/snug on the ground floor with TV
- 1 large mezzanine with TV and air-conditioning
- A fully equipped kitchen
- 2 terraces (one covered and South facing, one semi-covered and North facing)
- a 9x4m heated swimming pool (open from May to September), entirely privatised
- a hot tub within its pool-house (open all year round), entirely privatised
- large green spaces

The whole thing was even better than we expected - and we had high expectations! The house and pool were lovely, Élodie and her local people were a delight to deal with, the trip was a huge success. We’ll be back!
