Villa Agastya

If you’re planning to visit Goa and like to get to know a local atmosphere, stay at Villa Agastya. The hosts, The location, the food, the garden, die atmosphere is just wonderful. Netflix available, AC works well. Great restaurant nearby. It’s a small place, where you feel at home. My room had a beautiful balcony.

Everything was perfect! The owners took amazing care of us and helpwd to organize everything! The room is very spacious and the surrounding is amazing - really calm. Also, there is great restaurant nearby!

Je n’y ai passé qu’une nuit , j’ai choisi cet établissement pour sa proximité avec l’aéroport. Les propriétaires tres sympathiques et serviables. Chambre très confortable. Excellente rapport qualite/prix

The villa lies in a residential area with lush green gardens and forest around. You awake to the cries and sounds of animals. The rooms with bathrooms have their own entrances. Local or European breakfast is served under a cool pergola under shady trees and often leads to interesting conversations with other guests - a nice thing especially if you are a solo traveller like me. The hosting couple had the villa built in the traditional local stile and with traditional materials often using parts from demolished old houses or for example locally produced tiles. They helped me in so many ways (early arrival been made comfortable, bicycle to go to the beach, scooter to go to Old Goa, laundry, arranging my transport to the railway station etc.) and made me feel at home. And we had good conversations. Besides the price was very reasonable for the good standard provided. Thank you.
