Citystay Living - Finch House

Modern, bright and clean. Lots of facilities. Great shower room, and small outside balcony was nice. Parking right outside, off the road.

I stayed in flat 4. I loved having the outdoor terrace to sit at the table early morning and at night. It also let great air flow through. The property is very well equipped and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and it’s good linen. It was a last minute booking to visit a friend who was unexpectedly in hospital. Having milk, coffee, paper towel, washing up and washing supplies was great. It is next door to St Andrew’s church and I valued being able to attend a contemplative communion there. Thank you.

Excellent communication from hosts, who went out of their way to make this last minute change in accommodation (due to maintenance issues) work for us. Fresh and modern decor. Convenient for our needs in bus route.

It’s on a main road and unfortunately there were road works, so standing traffic and use of car horns disturbed our sleep. Unable to have windows open because of this (during heat wave) and my partner couldn’t tolerate the rather vigorous fan. A couple of areas not as clean as we would have liked, including around bathroom tap and a dirty tooth mug. An extra lamp for reading in living room would be good.

Nice modern clean

Not enough sockets. Made drying hair difficult with mirror and socket so far away. An extension lead would have solved the issue. Kettle lid would not close so had to press down near boiling so it knew when to shut off.
