Villa ELMAR

The locations I right in the center. Lovely backyards and great restaurant space for breakfast and coffee with a stunning view over berat. They have many turtles living at the hotel which we were allowed to feed. The staff was always friendly and attentive.

The room had a pretty view but the linens weren’t super clean. Also unfortunately the bathroom is so small that the whole room becomes the shower, which leaves everything wet.

Friendly staff amazing location and clean rooms

Beds uncomfortable - shower was leaking everywhere and toilet was a bit dodgy. With water leaking and toilet kept making noise

Location and staff were superb.

The room was a little small for the beds provided (an extra single was superfluous) and the bathroom was a little cramped.

Location is amazing, garden is beautiful (with a turtle family!) The owner helped us park our car as it's a non-obvious way up, that was very helpful. We got a little bit of refund for what was wrong (although not enough in comparison with the scale of problem), and the girl apologized profusely.

1. We had two rooms: the upper one had no toilet seat, and the staff knew about that. They fixed it only after we complained. 2. The same room had no separate shower: you wash right next to the toilet bowl. There was a lot of black mould. 3. The drain there was clogged, and all water went directly to the room in 10 seconds 4. Water was cold in the whole hotel and one of us caught cold. There was nobody at the reception at night, so we could ask about the problem only in the morning. 5. The team says thermostat died over the night, but if you run a hotel, you should have a plan B. 6. Breakfast was mediocre at best.
