The AT runs along the fence in our front yard and you are just steps from the renowned Virginia Creeper Bike Trail or any of the other 5 trails that crisscross Damascus! Whether you're adventuring on nearby trails or simply enjoying a leisurely stroll through town, our suite provides a relaxing escape. This upstairs suite features two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a welcoming living room with a small kitchenette equipped for your convenience. The kitchenette includes a 3 in 1 stove coffee grill toaster oven, mini-fridge, microwave, crockpot, & toaster. Bedroom 1 boasts a king-size bed, while Bedroom 2 offers a full-size bed and a twin-size bed, perfect for accommodating families or groups of friends. Children over 10 are warmly welcome. The main house is on a central HVAC system. The home is kept at an optimal temperature for the average guest. Should you need it cooler or warmer, we have provided accessory heating or cooling units within your suite. The window unit is for heating and cooling. Be sure to take advantage of these should you need them.

Our main home consists of three private suites. Each suite has its own space and entrance.
Are your rates negotiable?
Unfortunately, no. You can't put a price on great memories! We extend a 10% discount on all stays 7+ nights or more and a 15% discount on stays 28+ days or more. The discount will automatically be applied at the checkout screen.
I work remotely, is there wifi?
Yes, we provide wifi in all of our listings. We have hosted several remote workers over the years and have not had a report of weak wifi.
Is there anywhere to store luggage before check in or after check out in case I’m not able to check in early or check out late?
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept and hold luggage for guests.

We love our furry friends but we ask for guests to make other arrangements for their pets while visiting our home.

We have electronic locks at our listings. Guests will be provided with their unique access code on the morning of their arrival.

All guest names (First and last) must be included on the reservation. The booking party is responsible for sharing all house rules and access information with the staying guest.

This place was absolutely amazing! Very clean. The decor was beautiful but not over the top, so you felt comfortable sitting.Close walking to everything. We sat on the front porch and watched people walk by. Will definitely be back to stay again

We came to Damascus to ride the Creeper Trail. We were thrilled with the Appalachian Suite. It was perfect for us. It is within walking distance to all of the bike outfitters and downtown businesses. It was clean and well cared for. You need to be comfortable navigating stairs to stay in this suite. We loved sitting on the front porch after getting back from our ride. As mentioned, the Appalachian Suite is an upstairs suite, so it has the possibility to be warmer in the summer months, but I would recommend this lodging to anyone. The owners were always very responsive to messaging. Come on to Damascus...you won't regret it!
