Fabulous home away from home

It was gorgeous. Really pretty outlook. Lovely and welcoming public area. Everything was really nice. Rich checked me in and was amazing. Even went out to my car to carry my bags in. Donna was also lovely. The place had a lovely "old school homely" feel. Its not too far from the uptown area and very code to restaurants like The Hudson (just across the road) or Creekside Bistro which is just a bit further up the hill. I really loved it here and would recommended it.

Being in a room on the roadside of the hotel wasn't great but the traffic did die down during the night. If I stayed here again I'd ask for a room away from the road but it wasn't a big deal.

Overall satisfactory but with some notable downsides

Pros: Comfortable sheets, nice bath, breakfast hall had nice view of creek, hotel is near the town center

Cons: Road noise was significant (7am-10pm), breakfast selection was very limited (worse than some budget chain hotels), service was mixed

Pleasant place to stay

Convenient location with a pretty view of Oak Creek from the deck off the bkfst area. Access to the common space possible at all hours

Wi-fi signal in my room was pretty weak. Awkward room layout to allow use of the table; had to move the comfortable/only chair to use at the table by lifting it over the bed (space limitation). Creek access was limited, but maybe the water level was high

We loved our stay at the Inn for the ambiance and peaceful atmosphere. The host, Donna, was very accommodating.

Quiet, comfortable, fireplace, proximity to Oak Creek, kind staff. they treated all guests to a homemade Thanksgiving dinner.

Getting in and out of the bathtub to take a shower. Thankfully lots of grab bars.

Beautiful little place right on the creek, romantic, would definitely stay again.

Wonderful stay, my husband loved it, I thought it was a little weird that the bathroom sink was IN the room and not the bathroom but that didn't bother him. Also, Donna the receptionist/host was wonderful A+ to Donna.

The only negative thing I can say was that we had an electric fireplace in our room that turned on but no heat was available only the ambience of the flame, which would NOT stop me from coming back.

Truly spectacular!

This was an absolutely sweet place to stay with so much personality. The Inn Keepers were delightful and the continental breakfast was lovely, including homemade muffins and hard boiled eggs. The “setting” is really special with a babbling creek below. It’s a great location with only a small walk to restaurants and shopping! The hot tubs in the bathrooms were a blessing to our sore muscles after each day of hiking. We will definitely be back!!! Thanks for your hospitality, Donna! We feel like we made new friends with you! 😘

Overall it was okay

The staff was super welcoming, friendly and helpful. I liked the bathroom in our room.

The online photos made the place look much larger and much more renovated than it is. Our room smelled really musty when we first arrived and took about a day to air out. Our room was also rather small and was just not what I was expecting unfortunately. There were also staircases, which I was not aware of, so lugging our bags was a bit challenging.

Tammy and Richard were welcoming and great. Breakfast provided was bagels with all the fixings, pastries, fruit and oatmeal with coffee and teas. Microwave was available as well as a refrigerator for you restaurant leftovers. Rooms were adorable with fireplace. Views from my balcony so relaxing.

Great Location - Friendly Staff - Eclectic Rooms Giving a Charming Experience

We were always out early so never took advantage of the breakfast - but it was modest - muffins and bagels, juice and coffee. The property is more like a bed and breakfast so rooms were not uniform arrangements. No elevator. The property has some beautiful sit and chill spots both inside and outside if you are looking for that experience. We absolutely loved the location and that would be a reason to return. It's walk-able to several popular eating venues which is a bonus because parking can be tricky at a lot of places. It was easy to drive to the trails. Due to a need to repair AC in our chosen room we were in a suite room for 2 nights. It was quite unusual, with kitchen, large space with sofa and a fireplace but not necessarily functional layout for 2 travelers - limited personal storage. We spent 2 more nights in our chosen room which was a very basic, much smaller space but actually more traveler functional space for 2. The on property manager was delightful and very friendly. All in all a quirky Inn but a great place to stay.

The suite room had a lot of windows and several transom style windows that allowed light into the room at night. The smaller room (#8) had a very high bed that really needs a step stool to get into it. The tub in the bathroom is not easily accessible if you are not very flexible cuz it's a high wall jacuzzi/ shower combo & there is a full length mirror directly across from the toilet - not a great idea.

Nice Inn

The Inn is located within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The outside area around the Inn is beautiful!

The room was not big at all and there are narrow stairs you have to use to get to the 2nd floor. There is no elevator. The breakfast provided is not like a hotel. Coffee, tea, muffins, bagels and cereal.

Great experience and fantastic staff!

Extremely quiet spot and convenient location. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The common area and kitchen access was a very pleasant surprise.

The room was a little on the ‘small size’, but certainly worked for our needs. The one VERY small nitpick that I would change is the footboard on the bed, tight squeeze between bed and fireplace. My knees would have liked a little more space. :-) Again, if that’s the only complaint they are doing something right…

Quaint home base to discover Sedona.

The staff are amazingly gracious and kind, makes a huge welcoming impression. The seating area by the creek was just bliss. You can find yourself there again and again

Rooms in front or over the main artery that runs through Sedona. If you are sensitive to outside noise you want a room at the back. Climate control was a bit of a challenge to regulate given the position of the unit in our room.

Lovely deck for cocktails or breakfast. Very nice facility. Right across from Tlaquepaque shops and restaurants. Lovely place for our morning walk. Would stay here again.
