About this cabin rental
Family & dog friendly cabin in the cool Pines trees. 3 bedrooms, 2 bath cozy cabin with open kitchen. Elk herds can be found relaxing along the back fence. You will mostly likely see elk, deer, or a rabbit during your stay. Large fenced in backyard with small kids play set. Cornhole, fourscore, hammock and lots of room for your kids to run in the backyard. The house is close to unique restaurants & Tonto Natural Bridge is a 10-minute drive. The kitchen is fully stocked with coffee, tea, sugar, and a few flavors for your beverage of choice. Kids plates, bowels, cups, and utensils are also provided. There is a crib for infant/toddler use, we ask that you bring your own sheet if you plan on using the crib. Dog dishes are available as well as a dog bed. We kindly ask the if you allow your animal on the furniture, you put down a sheet to limit hair getting on the furniture. Please pick up after your pet prior to departing. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the cabin. The cabin is in the woods so there is a chance there may be a bug or spider in the house, while it's not the norm, it does happen on occasion. We ask that you do follow the local fire restrictions if/when in place.

Such a cute little town and this house was very close to everything. I would book with them again if I am back in Pine.

Pet friendly with fenced in yard. Cozy cabin with comfy furniture. We have stayed here many times. Close to shops and hiking. The coffee maker is amazing!!Plenty of cute bunk beds for kids!

Beautifully appointed cabin in a lovely spot. Updated, clean, and very comfortable. Host has thought of everything. Easy checkin and out, and great communication. Very pet friendly. Although we didn’t see any elk on property (plenty of sightings nearby) we did get visited by a few javalina the first night that our dogs did not appreciate. Javalina remained outside the fence but the exchange got a bit intense until I scooped up my beagle (not one to back down having survived the streets before rescue) and took dogs inside. Wild animals are part of the experience of visiting Pine so not entirely surprising. My dogs were not keen on going out back after dark after that, but generally enjoyed running around the backyard, sniffing and listening to all the new sounds. I recommend dog owners scan the area from inside before letting dogs outside, especially if they may react negatively to wildlife, and remain nearby for everyone’s peace of mind. Overall a wonderful place that I hope to book again.

Lance and Lindsay are very gracious and responsive hosts for this clean, comfortable and well appointed vacation rental. The cabin is located on a well maintained road which is easily accessible and close to the town center with shopping and dining availability. It is evident that these hosts love their property from the moment you pull into the driveway which offers covered parking, plenty of space for guest vehicles and a well landscaped and safe front entry. The backyard area is also nicely landscaped, fenced and offers a safe place and play area for children. There is a huge back patio for lounging or grilling and dining outdoors. Inside the cabin is super clean and pleasantly decorated in all rooms. Amenities are plentiful and dishes, cooking utensils, appliances, coffee maker and electric tea kettle are high quality. Linens are clean and in good condition. The electronics are well maintained and internet, cable and streaming services are available with clear instructions for use. I enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend the Green Elk Retreat Cabin to anyone planning a visit to the Pine/Strawberry area.
