"Simple little cabin don’t need much just place to lay down. Came to visit for long weekend and this place was pretty much middle of all the trips we had somewhat planed to go. If ever have a chance to..."

Location - near lots to see and do, yet extremely private. If I have one thing to suggest or recommend: If you have never stayed at this property before, arrive during DAYLIGHT hours . The driveway gets treacherous the closer you get to the cabin. Especially in the fall, as leaves cover the driveway and it gets hard to see the pavement/shoulder. Very sharp drop-off on left side going in. 1

Beautiful area. House was a log cabin and was older. Four people looking for a quaint place to stay this is it. The bedding was firm but comfortable. The surrounding area was very quiet and restful. The house is close to several Jim mining activities. Downtown FrNklin was wonderful. We were only here for two short days and we only went out to eat on two occasions. Both restaurants were great. It appears that this house had not been stayed in recently and once we entered the house, we noticed that it’s been shut up for a while as you could smell the fireplace. In most times that I have stayed in that is affiliated with VRBO have been cleaned and freshened, even though they had been closed up. There was dirt and dead bugs around the baseboard in one bathroom and in another the tub had stains however, that may have been from past issues with water stains. Outside on the front porch there are two swings one a glider and the other one hangs. The hanging swing had bird droppings present. There was dirt and dead leaves branches on the porch. In the front yard the weeds were growing and in the center was a rocking chair. Along the side, where the trashcan set a small, dead tree look like it had been there for some time. The driveway getting into this house is very steep. Overall, this place is average.
