The Blue Ridge Parkway is 15min away, and downtown Blowing Rock and the amazing trails at Moses Cone National Park are less than 20 minutes in the car. We all had a great time. Love this area of North Carolina. Just had an issue with the cleaning crew. We arrived about 15 minutes before check in and the cleaning crew was still there. Since we were slightly early we drove around the area and came back at check in time. We waited for about 20 minutes for them to leave and finally went into the house. We were told that they still needed to finish vacuuming and to scrub the floors. We looked around told them to just finish vacuuming and not to scrub the floors as they didn't look bad. We wanted to get unloaded as a storm was on its way. Finally 50 minutes after check in time, they left. We found several counters were not wiped down in the kitchen and the refrigerator/freezer was not cleaned. Not the owners fault, but an inconvenience to us. The rest of the cabin was in excellent condition. Yes, I would recommend this cabin.

we really enjoyed how spacious and comfortable this home was. We would definitely stay again. We especially liked the fenced in yard for our dogs. the large kitchen and large dining room table.
