Beautiful Peaceful Coastal Retreat
If you're looking for a peaceful Outer Banks vacation home – Olive The Beach is it! This spacious home has plenty of room for your family as well as your canine companion and boasts 6 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, and 2 half baths in the Chicahauk Community of Southern Shores. Featuring a private pool*, separate kiddie pool, bubbly hot tub, game room, and more - you'll love the blend of modern amenities and peaceful surroundings that make Olive The Beach the perfect vacation destination. Conveniently, this soundside home is actually closer than many oceanside homes in Southern Shores! The closest beach access is just 0.2 miles (a 4-minute walk) away!
Peace and relaxation begin outdoors. Swim a few laps in your 16'x32' private pool and then wind down the bubbly hot tub. Nearby, you'll find a separate kiddie pool for the little ones in the family! When you're done splashing in the pool, rinse off in the convenient outdoor shower. Inside, you'll love the game room which has plenty of comfy seating around the flat-screen TV along with an air hockey table to get a little family-friendly competition rolling! On the ground level, you will also find a Queen master bedroom with a full bath, as well as a half bathroom off of the game room.
The main entry with a covered porch and foyer is on the second level. Get a good night's rest in one of four bedrooms located on this floor, including a King master bedroom with its own private bathroom. Down the hall you will find a bedroom with two twin beds and a full bed. A bedroom with a pyramid bunk bed is perfect for the kids and is located beside the twin bedroom. The last bedroom on this floor has a Queen bed and guests that sleep in this room can also enjoy the deck access. A full bathroom and laundry area can also be found on this floor. Step outside and enjoy some family time on the covered deck with a cozy lounge area.
Upstairs, the heart of this home is the bright and cheery great room with vaulted ceilings. There are plenty of comfortable furnishings including two oversized chairs and a spacious l-shaped couch all centered around a flat-screen TV—perfect for watching your favorite movie or TV show if the weather keeps you inside. The fifth and final bedroom is located just down the hallway on this floor—a King Master with its own private bathroom. Head back to the living area and step outside onto the sun deck and soak in the ocean breeze. You'll also find two gas grills located on the deck – perfect for grilling up your catch of the day! The location was ideal. We loved walking in the quiet neighborhood. The house was so nice. We loved that some could stay up and play air hockey on the ground floor while others were sleeping or relaxing upstairs. We made some wonderful family memories. The kite light show at Jockey’s Ridge was awesome!

Our family of 11 had a wonderful stay! The house was great! I do wish there were more amenities listed in the description. I didn’t know there was a Keurig, crockpots, or a blender. I brought my Keurig from home. One thing the house REALLY needs is a table for the outside deck. There are no outside tables at all. There are plenty of chairs around the pool. There are toys for children and lots of games. We liked the size and layout of the house and we will be back next year! Hoping they add a table for outside and list it in the description or pictures.

Variety of beds in the bedrooms is great option for two families! The walk to beach was very easy. Kitchen stocked with necessities for cooking and pool snack serving!
