Enjoy all the benefits of residing in Kill Devil Hills, also known as the heart of the OBX. The beautiful white exterior has the perfect coastal touch you hope for when staying on the best beaches of NC! Grill up your favorite sizzling seafood filets on the propane gas grill. You can also blast some of your favorite tunes on the Bluetooth-compatible home speaker system! Even though it's a soundside home, you'll be delighted to find it's only 0.3 miles or a 3-minute drive to the nearest public beach access.
The ground-level offers the main entry and includes a laundry area for convenient mid-week washes. Outside you'll find a cozy seating area to lounge in, as well as an outdoor shower that makes it easy to rinse off the sand after a long day on the beach!
Travel to the mid-level and discover all the common areas. The dining area offers a country table with seating for 6 and a long bench on one side that provides seating for more. White walls throughout and white cabinets in the kitchen encapsulate the theme of La Casa Blanca. The home was beautifully built. The owners did a great job with the design. And what I have to say about the home is not at any fault of the owners. I loved this home!! I loved that it was dog friendly and we were able to take our dog. Upon arrival the house wasn’t very clean. I was pretty disappointed in that aspect. If a family departs by 9am and the next family isn’t aloud to check in until 5pm that house should be clean. That’s 8 hours. The floors were filthy, there were dead bugs and dust visible in the window sills. Sand on kitchen countertops. Mold on the shower walls. If there were a family in the home every week why was there mold growing in the grout joints on the walls? It isn’t something that difficult to clean, it just takes a brush and cleaner. Overall our stay was nice, I just feel like the cleanliness wasn’t there.

The house was perfect beautiful just wish it wasn’t on a main road just very loud. I should have looked into that more. The bed down stairs in master was just not good couldn’t sleep needs a box spring. So had to move upstairs to the bed toward street which was noisy but Atleast slept with a more comfortable mattress. That should be in the master in my opinion. Otherwise fenced in yard great for the dogs. Lots of walking.

Great stay at La Casa Blanca. Walk to the beach is easy. Only complaint is the noise from the main road. The house was spotless and smelled great. A great option and centrally located to everything from Corolla to Hatteras. Amazon Fire/Roku TV worked with all our apps. Couldn’t ask for much more. Great property.

Great location. Some traffic noise but not an issue for our family. Our only recommendation would be to consider stocking the kitchen a bit better for families that like to cook meals in…ie a casserole or Pyrex dish, food storage containers, cookie sheet, ice cream scoop. We did thoroughly enjoy our stay!
