One of the best apartments in Cetinje

It was amazing! The host is very polite and friendly, the apartment is located in the city center and there is a nice bakery in the same building and a couple of great cafes nearby. It was cozy and felt like home. Apartment has everything to enjoy your stay in Cetinje. I highly recommend it!

Cetinje, the beautiful royal capital of Montenegro, radiates the aristocratic charm of the past. With churches and monasteries immortalized in history and poetry, it served as a beacon of freedom and Christianity during the invasion of the Ottoman hordes. At that time, the empires and kingdoms of Europe collapsed like houses of cards before the godless Turkish empire. The royal capital and kingdom of Montenegro in modern history was admiringly called the Sparta of the Balkans by the Axis powers during the Balkan Wars and World War I, a title it held throughout the centuries amid the storm of Ottoman vermin. Apartment DORA was extremely comfortable, clean, and had everything a tourist needs for a pleasant stay. Conveniently located in the centre, it is close to all the historical sites, including the Palace of the Royal Family Petrović Njegoš and the embassies of former empires and kingdoms of Europe and the world. These landmarks once again indicate the importance of the fortress of Christianity at that time. A city with fewer than six thousand inhabitants in the 17th and 18th centuries had twenty embassies.

Comfortable and clean

The apartment is new and comfortable. Enough for 4 people. One small bedroom + one living room wlth kitchen. The market and bakery is close.

If there is more kitchen stuff, it would be better.

Good choice

The house is in a great location, close to the city centre and points of interest, and yet in a very quiet place. Parking is behind the house. We appreciated the bakery with the cafe on the ground floor of the building, the supermarket in the same street and we can recommend the Restaurant Kole on the opposite street. The apartment is smaller (suitable for max. 2 people) but new and practically equipped - kitchen with living room, separate bedroom, own hot water boiler in the bathroom, well-functioning air conditioning, good wifi. The hosts were pleasant, they responded very flexibly. Thank you very much and we wish you all the best.

The apartment is on the 1. floor but the elevator is located on the mezzanine floor. We were missing a wardrobe or a clothes rail (plenty of clothes hangers available but nowhere to hang them).

Actually, we booked this apartment, but did not live in them. And all because when we arrived, the apartment was dirty and not cleaned. We contacted the owner and he honestly confirmed that there was no cleaning. Everything would be fine, but we were with 2 heavy suitcases and we had to quickly look for another accommodation and re-call a taxi. So if you decide to stay here, be prepared. The owner should be more responsible in receiving guests and should not waste our time and money.

If I'm in Cetinje, I'll be back

Excellent location of the apartments - there are many cafes around, various historical and beautiful buildings. There is a supermarket opposite the building. We found a taxi rank a couple of minutes walk from the house, so we did not have to wait for them for a long time. The apartment is small, but cozy - a working and well-heating air conditioner, Wi-Fi, basic kitchen utensils for cooking, a refrigerator. There is hot water in the shower thanks to the boiler, there is also a washing machine. The owner of the apartment is a very responsive person, he was always ready to answer any questions and help in everything you need. Thank you very much and all the best!

Unfortunately, after a shower, water remains on the floor for some time, which is why it is not very convenient to wipe yourself after it, but there is a heater in the bathroom itself and this does not cause big problems.

Beautiful stay

Very well located next to city center. Our host was very helpful and gave us all the needed information for check In and offered help to answer any question about the city. The apartment is modern and well equiped.

Unfortunately the bathroom clearly lacked cleaning. Also the balcony overviews ruins which is not pleasant.
