The location (distance from where I needed to be, and the other ammenities (pub, cafe)) were fab, as were the people running it. They were available and helpful.
The stairs to the room were very steep for me. I really struggled.

Not fancy or "5 Star," but the location in the middle of Darlinghurst was fabulous, and it was wonderful to be staying with real Sydneysiders in their own home. instead of a boring beige hotel room. Our hostess, Linda was very welcoming and gave us some good tips about Sydney, as well as sharing a little of her own personal journey.
The steep stairs in Linda's heritage listed little cottage are rather challenging. Carpeting might make them a bit easier and safer.

- very convenient location - very responsive host - all amenities including fridge and microwave are in the room which is very useful - very playful cat in the property which sometimes came into your bedroom - could be seen as a good or bad thing depending on if you’re a cat person
- quite steep stairs up to the room might be difficult for some people to navigate
