Beautiful, immaculately clean little hotel

This was perhaps the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Besides that, accommodations were excellent for a small hotel. Breakfast was wonderful and staff was friendly and caring. Location excellent, right around the corner from the lake.

Superb

Charming hotel in the center of Ascona with wonderful breakfast. The room was great and comfortable and had everything you needed. We ended up prolonging our stay for one more night and while it wasn't possible for us to keep the same room, the staff were able to provide us with another one.

Reaching the hotel by car was not possible, so we had to park outside the center and walk for 5-10 minutes from a nearby parking garage. It wasn't an issue but something worth mentioning for people with a lot of luggage.

Nice so long as you don't like coffee, privacy, and to sit outside on a patio.

Really good location, good bed and good bathroom. Really clean.

Pillows were uncomfortable without any extras available. Advertised as having a patio, there is no patio or balcony, only a shared central plaza which doesn't really work for a private get away. Hated the lack of a coffee machine in our room or even on our floor.

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, large and exceptionally clean room, good breakfast and good local beer in the bar.

Bar not open in the evening! Door to room needed to be slammed closed which may have been noisy for other guests.
